No... she's not for sale! i would never! 

But, I was trying to photograph my bass guitar to sell on craigslist, and she insisted on sitting right in front of it!    So, I posted the picture anyway with a note that says, "dog not included, she just insisted on being in the picture!"   :crazyeyes:

Maybe she will bring some doxie good luck to getting it sold!  :xfinger:

Looks like that's a Fender Jazz Bass?   How much do you want for it?  I may know some musicians in the D.C. area that may be interested...in the bass, not Cookie!

All my dachshunds have been very nonplussed about my instruments, with their attitudes ranging from apathy to fear to aggression.  Only Rusty-angel, our mongrel seemed to like the saxophones.   He used to bay along with the soprano sax.

Good Eye! Its a Squier Fender Jazz Bass.  I am trying local craigslist first to avoid dealing with shipping.  But if I don;t get any bites I will let you know!
My DH is a musician (mostly jazz).  Cookie absolutely loves the steel drums.  Anytime he plays them she sits under them and listens.  She also enjoys classical music.   Its weird to see her body just completely relax and listen.
As for the bass guitar, all she wanted to do was lick it.
