I'm going back to New Orleans on Monday and was taking a look at some of the things I might buy while there and came across this poster from the 2005 Mardi Gras. Hope you like it too.

Beautiful poster. Such vivid colors. Have fun in "Norlans"......don't forget to take a trip to the French Quarter for a few drinks at the Piano Bar! Have a wonderful, safe time :thumb:

:thumb: Isn't the piano bar great? Do they still have the same sisters that were there when I was in New Orleans in, umm, maybe 2002? Marcia and I talked about the Cafe du Monde - love those beignets!

As a matter of fact I'm staying in the Quarter right on Bourbon Street. There is so much going on next week and they keep adding more events for the 29th so I keep changing my itinerary. Any way the boys are going to Camp Rakestraw once again and will be there all week.

Sam & Eddie say they will write when they get home on Saturday.

Oh yes.....The Cafe du Monde is a must for the beignet doughnuts and the coffee made with chicory!!!! DELICIOUS!!! I don't know if the same sisters are at the Piano Bar but the last time I was there and engulfed several of those pretty little froo froo drinks with the little umbrellas.....I was walking down the street and somebody put a big like bicycle barracade thingie right in the middle of the street right in my way....ahem...well I fell right over the dang thing and ended up looking at the clouds....hahaha....between me and my two girlfriends, one of their husbands was with us and boy did he have a handful....hahaha....."Norlans" is a wonderful place and soooo fun...again, have a great time!!!
