Mamma and Meghan decided hey NEEDED to go to Bruster's Ice Cream and this time they asked me if I wanted to go. Of course, I said YES (tail waggin' always mean yes)!
We got in the car and Mamma even put the window down for me since Meg was driving and we went across the street a little ways to Bruster's (which mamma says is Way too close to our house!) and then I thought they were going to leave 'cause they didn't get out with the other people that were holding their dog. Finally Meghan pulled up to a talking box and told them she wanted ice cream, but didn't say anything about doggie ice cream. When we got to the window, she told them she also needed a doggie sundae!!! That was for ME! I got my very own ice cream in a bowl with a dog biscuit and mamma said the best part is it's FREE!!!

Schatzi was so funny when we didn't get out of the car to order. I guess she remembers the time Randy and I walked both her and Molly over there for ice creams. It was funny to see someone else with their dog there tonight. It is usually on the weekends that you see that. Once we got to the window, she sat perfectly still and waited for her ice cream. I swear she knew she would be getting something too! Of course, this means that everytime I go out the door, she will think she's supposed to go and get an ice cream!
If you have a Bruster's anywhere nearby, you have to try it. It is really the best ice cream I've tried anywhere.

Oh my goodness...that is sooooo cool....I don't believe we have anything like that around Cinti. How nice that they give your babies their very own ice cream with doggie biscuits, I would be there all the time!!!!! Congratulations Schatzi for getting your very own ice cream!!

Dis is Oscy speaking fer all of us....ice cream is da BEST treat! We gots a place dat gives puppers ice cream fer free to! Yep...it's da soft kind dats really easy to lick up and we each gets our own little cup! Mama sez dat dey get scared when dey see up pull up in da car....she sez dat between da four of us we eat up da daily pwofits...whateber dat means.

Chilie here: Ooooooooooooooooooh, I want some ice cream too! I'm gonna tell my mom to look up Bruster's and see if it's in our area. The best ice cream in our area is a place called Graeters. Course, I never get any of my own ice cream when I get to go...

They are expanding rapidly and are in quite a few states now. When they came into the Greenville area in S.C., six stores were opened in less than 2 years. 3 were owned by the same people and all have done well. Their ice cream is homemade and they have about 30 flavors each day. Hope you have one near you.

We went to Baskins-Robbins last summer for sundaes and ordered a small cup of plain vanilla ice cream also. They asked us "Is this for a dog?" and we said yes. And they said okay, then its free! Its so neat when places will cater to dogs.

I've not heard of that store but I'd love to try it out sometime! Hallie is jealous...anything dairy makes her urp except for a little plain yogurt.

Joy of joys! We have a Brusters here in Grove City! That's only about 10 minutes from us! I think we'll have to make a trip there one of these days. Do they always give doggie ice cream for free? Anything special you have to do or say?

Doggie sundaes are always free. You just have to ask for one. If they see Chilie they will probably ask if you want one for her. If you go to their website and sign up for their sweet rewards, you can get coupons once a month. Sometimes you can get a free waffle cone, or you get a Buy one get one free waffle cone. I will often buy their ice cream in pints since it isn't much more for a pint than it is for a waffle cone! In the fall, they have some wonderful pumpkin flavors!!

Our local "mom & Pop" icecream store makes doggie sundaes with doggie biscuits, but they are not free.
