It's Zora's Barkday!

Today our sweet little girl turns six years old! By coincidence, she also shares her barkday with her "uncle" Rudy-angel. While not actually blood related, the Zs seem to think that Rudy was their uncle and Max was their Grandfather.

Today is Zora's day. Please join us in wishing Zora a happy barkday.

Happy Happy Zora!!! Lucky little dogs, both of them. I think it is so awesome she shares a birthday with Rudy.
Those gray hairs come in way too early and way too fast! Everytime I look at Hallie I think I see a few more...and feel somewhat faint. LOL!

Happy birthday, dear Zora, happy birthday to you! We have a shared birthday here, too. Brekke was born three weeks after Heidi-Angel's passing, and on Heidi's birthday, as well. I saw her baby picture, noticed her birthday, and whammy! I just felt she was meant to be my little girl! Yes, Brekke wants to know if you got scrambled eggies, as well! L'chaim! (Did I spell it right?)

Thank you all for your well-wishes on Zora's barkday. She had a pretty good day. No scambled eggies, though. We have to watch Zora's girlish figure. Given her druthers, she'd rather look like a four-legged football than a sleek dachshund, but we won't allow that. Zora weighed almost as much as Zeke at one point, less than a pound separated them. Zora is now a svelte 12 pounds.

Zeke, on the other hand, could use about 1 - 2 pounds on his frame, but I'd rather have him too light than too heavy. I'd like to see Zeke between 16 - 17 pounds, but he typically runs between 15.5 to 15.8 pounds.
