We're back from our quick sojourn to Ocean City, and the Zs are back under the roof again.

The Zs had a good time once they settled in (and their hosts hid the ferrets).

We had an enjoyable stay, which included spending time at the beach, the hotel swimming room, an amusement park where Jessica got to ride her first rides, and a quick detour down to Assateague Island where we got to see wild horses, which was amazing...just seeing horses out there grazing like deer or something.   Piccys to follow!

Glad you enjoyed Assateague.  We have a house on Chincoteague and spend most weekends there!  Our dogs are great with travel.  When your baby is old enough you should bring her to see the pony swim.

Did you say WILD HORSES AT ASSATEAGUE????????????? OMG what I wouldn't give for the chance to photograph those guys...that and Chincoteague. I have read the Misty of Chincoteague and Stormy, Misty's foal book by Margaurite Henry (illustrated by Wesley Dennis) dozens of times growing up. Always wanted to see the pony penning day.

I have the old movie "Misty of Chincoteague" and its great!  I, too, would love to be there on pony penning day.  That, and Assateague.
