AND WE'RE OFF . . .

To Chattanooga!  I don't know when I'll have time to log in, but I'll try.  I'm traveling without a laptop - yessirree, Bob, we're roughin' it!

Monday - I hope to be on the road around noon and get to Claytor Lake State Park just south of Roanoake, Virginia, around six p.m.

Tuesday - Leave Claytor Lake around nine a.m. and arrive at Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia around 2 p.m.  Set up camp - kinda - then off to pick up my son D'Niel around four p.m.  Back to camp, dinner, then back to his facility by 8 p.m.  Back to camp.  Pass out.

Wednesday - Sleep in, pick up D'Niel at noon, find a doggie day care, drop off The Herd so we can go see Hairspray, camp, eat, back to the facility by 8 p.m. back to camp, pass out.

Thursday - Sleep in, pick up D'Niel at noon, doggie day care, another movie (Bourne Supremacy), shopping, pick up doggies, back to camp, eat, pass out (D'Niel gets to sleep over!).

Friday - back to the facility.  Back to camp.  Sabbath starts around 7:45 p.m. I'm ready for a day of REST!!!!

Saturday - sleep, read, walk doggies, sleep some more, eat, read some more, another walk, more sleep!

Sunday - Pack out camp, pick up d'Niel for lunch, say good-ye (boo-hoo!!), hit the road, camp at Claytor Lake again.

Monday - get home, empty car, pass out.

Tuesday - pick up friend, drive 4 hours to Brooklyn, New York for another friend's wedding, get back home around 2 a.m.

Wedneday - return rental, come home, pass out.

Thursday - still passed out

Friday - barely conscious, but hopefully very happy!!!

I'll post on Off Topics if I can!! Take care of all dem hooman, puppers!  I'm leavin' you in charge!  Don't get behind on the belly rubs and tweats, and remember - when in doubt, Da L@@K is da secret weapon!!

Sounds like a wonderful week. I'm sure D'Neill is more excited than anyone. I've seen both movies and they are GREAT! Drive safely and
EVERYONE BEHAVE!!!! Aunt Karen needs a good vacation after the escape this year and the tenant deal. The better she relaxes, the better your life is!

Here is the link to the post where she talks about where her son is. She has mentioned it one time before that when she talked about making the trip to Chattanooga. d'niel (Daniel) is 17 (At least I think that's what she told me in one of her replies).

I can't wait to hear the stories about The Herd sharing their Aunt Karen. If things go well over the next year, they will have another member of the household all the time, and I have a feeling he may be nicer to his mom than his sisters have been.
