Well, things are settling down with newborn Lily and the crew of four-leggeds (just a little bit, anyway).

We love our Lily and are enjoying this parenting thing. We love our furkids, too, and never want to forget the love they bring us. I have to admit, it's a challenge sometimes to address everyone's needs.

Many of you will recognize Willy, the red and white piebald. Willy is now 7 years old, put on a little weight and is actually getting some gray on his muzzle. In the picture below, he's with our black and tan Willie. Similar names but it's hard to get them confused, as you can see.

The doxie in the coke box is Heidi. Of all the comfy dog beds we have strewn about the house, she choose a box, which still has coke cans in half of it. Go figure.

The two black and tans on the deck are Heidi, again, and Tootsie. The honorary doxie is one of our three bassets. This is Isabella, or Bella as we call her. She lost one eye to glaucoma and we're treating the other for the same.

Good pictures of the furkids, but not a one of Lily?  C'mon- where are those new baby piccies?  Even Bob and Chrissie have day 2 piccies of Gabe up and running!  I love it that your Heidi likes to hang out on/with Coke cans!  So did my dearly departed Heidi Kristin, even though she was a red smooth.  Gretl-Angel hung out with Mountain Dew cans, though.

Roscoe used to climb on top of the recycled newspaper pile in my breakfast nook.  Definitely a recycled rescue!

Wouldn't Bella make a great lady pirate?  Could she wear a patch on her one missing eye?  And attach a toy parrot to her collar, just to complete the look!  LOL!
