Dr. Leaky patient update

Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes.  I am recuperating on all fronts.

Orthopedic surgery on my right thumb is going to take 3-5 months to completey recover.

The T.I.A. has left little damage, and I am lucky to have a great neurological team to work on recovering deficits from the stroke of March 2006.

Dr. Leaky and his loyal staff have worked like dogs.  It seems to come naturally!

Awww Karen it is no fun to be laid up. The worse should be behind you now though! You have the best nurses. Isn't it amazing how much they give back to us even though they aren't big enough to do things like bring us juice and chicken soup!
