Update on Boss's Furkid

Last Friday, my boss' dog started having seizures.  They rushed her to a emergency vet close to the Cedar Rapids airport.  They watched her all night long and made the decision to take her to Iowa State University in Ames.  My boss said it is possible, at 6:00 a.m., to drive 90 miles per hour from Cedar Rapids to Ames and NOT get ticketed.

Anyway they got her stabilized with medications, but she seems weak on the right side, and cannot see out of the right eye.  However, they say she may regain sight and think that the best thing, at this time, is to bring her home to recover with her family.  My boss's wife is driving to Ames at this time, to pick her up (never found out what breed she is, yet).

Thanks for everyone's rays and prayers, and here's hoping that things will settle down for a while.  Both my boss and I have had one crazy weekend; him with his pet, and me with having to move my daughter with only a couple of day's notice.

Any update?  I just read this and hope Baby girl is doing better at home with her people.

Boss felt comfortable enough to go on a short business trip, and he is out of the office today (quiet day for me - HOORAY!!).  I'll find out on Monday.
