Small lump

Tommie and Simson is going in for dentals, and Simson - also to have a small lump removed.  It's just on his right side behind his shoulder.  It's loose and moves with the skin and it does'nt get any bigger, and it does'nt seem to bother him at all.  It's probably just a fatty lump, but I want I removed anyway.  It's about the size of a medium fingernail.  Any thoughts on this?

Probably is just fatty tissue....but better to get it checked out - you never know.   Sending rays that both kids come through with flying colors !!!!  Let us know how they do -

I think it probably is a fatty lump and nothin gmore, but since he's already going to be going under for the dental it wouldn't hurt to get it removed and checked.

I am sure it is nothing, BUT... My friend's dog had a small lump that turned out to be canerous.... But they removed it and her baby was fine.  But if she didn't check it out it could of been bad....

Be don't think I am trying to scare you, it's just that knowing that this happened to a friend of mine, I thought I should pass on her story. 

Like I said I am sure it is NOTHING.... but it is worth getting it checked out.

I know this is a reply to an old post but Bish has a lump in the smae area as yours does, what was the out come of your lump? Bish's appeared a day after he got his rabies shot, and i took him to the vet a week later and they told me to just watch it cuz it didnt fell like anything to worry about but here it is March and he has had it since November. It hasnt mooved, gotten bigger or anything and my neighbor is a vet and a rescue person she checked it out and said the same thing just to watch it. But i am wondering if i should just have it removed. It doesnt hurt him, you can sit there and play with it and he just thinks her is getting a good massage. Any advice, help or what you did let me know! Thanks!

Lauri probably won't see this.  She cannot access this site from her work anymore and she is in South Africa, so there is also a time difference.  I just didn't want you to think she was ignoring you.  I don't think anything came of the lump, but I could be remembering wrong.

Thanks for the response! I am going back to his vets this weekend and as soon as my tax return comes I am going to get it removed just to be on the safe side. Again, thank you again for letting me know. If anyone does hear from Lauri please let me know!
