yeh our auntie Jane has 4 horsies and Aunty Julie  has 4, but we don't chase dem anymore as they can chase you and da can run faster.

Porky Pie here:  Wow Oliver, you must be bwave to chase da horsies!!  My cousin Brit Brat (da spaniel who passed away a year ago), told me dat one time she chased her gweat hoogwandpa's horse and den unka twacy turned it 'round and scared her so bad!  She took off running and summersaulted ober a irrigation ditch!     She told me dat hurt and she neber chased after dat horse again.   'sides dey are so BIG dey make me piddle whe dey look at me.

Dee Dee we would love to be rained on here. It was a little cold but we had a brazzier going, and the guys just love it all 6 off them. My sister has a clydesdale a three quarter quarter horse and one she uses for dressage and his friend. Julie is a teacher of gentle horsemanship, she has just started dressage work and breaks in some young race horses for a freind who trains, she is a wonder to watch.

ps it was her that taught Oliver his big lesson, as she came up the hill and he ran thinking haha I'll get tha, I yelled for him to stop and Julie said just let him run and she rode straihgt at him and pulled up as he realized hey the horseys still coming he turned tail and came to me, and since then he lets them go by without a look. Julie said it was what she was taught and he was in no danger.

I'd love to see some photos of your sister's horses!! That is so cool, I like the "gentle horsemanship" idea.

LOL sounds like Ollie got a very good lesson! They are so funny when they are too big for their britches at the moment of their realization...(WHERE'S MOM???) Hallie is famous for trotting along quietly on the leash with me past another walkers lunging, snarling dogs on their leashes...as soon as we get a "safe" distance she turns lets out one big BARK and then turns and runs like heck in the opposite direction. LOL.

You've probably heard my dachshund/horse horror story...my Dad got me a dachshund puppy right after my Mom passed away when I was 13, (I loved that puppy!) on my 14th birthday a few months later I was gone to a pizza party with friends and my Dad let the puppy out, who snuck into the horse field, he called her and my horses came galloping, my gelding didn't see her in the grass and accidentally killed her. I was devastated and so was he, I would never have a horse and dog again at the same time but I have held Hallie up and let her sniff noses with a Friesian or two over the fence that I knew was nice
