The Rose

OK I really mean it this time...this is the LAST one tonight. :) We are both having too much fun. We've been working for weeks holding the rose in her mouth, this is the first shot where she's held it, we did a happy dance all over the house after getting this. :thumb:

We're both fine and dandy. Scooter has been enjoying the warm weather, patrolling the backyard, keeping me safe from birds and squirrels and other threats.

He's due in at the vet next week for a teeth cleaning and removal of a wee tumor from his eyelid, so I'm already preparing to spoil him silly afterwards (maternal guilt!).

How are you??

We are all fine. Gretchen is mellowing in her middle age (7 - 8 in June, can you believe it?!). She's grown into quite the little huntress. She's earned a field champion title and master earthdog title.

Ilsa is 7 and even though she likes hunting, it isn't all she'd like to do in life, like Gretchen. She's also a field champion but has only gotten as far as a junior earthdog title. She loves to run through the tunnels, but not that interested in rats. Soooo, I always enter her so she can run through the tunnels.

I know Scooter will get all the spoiling he deserves when he gets his teffies cleaned. How old is he now?

Hey, Noel - good to know you're still around. I was asking people about you a few weeks back. I got married at the ripe age of 53 to a high school classmate, and am the step-mother of a college student. Brekke says "hi" and we enjoyed our short visit at Ron & Delia's in 2003 when we picked up baby Mocha for Brenda - my friend of 21 years. Mocha is now three, and coincidentally happens to be Brekke's niece. Are you still rocking to the 60s and 70s music? Brekke totally loved Ilsa and Gretchen, btw, and Gretchen was so cute with baby Mocha - very protective of her...

NOEL! It's SO good to hear from you and Scootie. We've missed you both! How are things? How is life? How is work? How is SCOOTER? I would love your email address, I had a hard drive crash a while back and lost it (!@$&%!!) If you don't mind, drop me an email?

Hallie says she's happy she was able to besot Scooter! And would gladly share his toys with him and let him nibble her neck.

Hallie also sez thanks for all the nice comments on her rose, she worked hard and had to "endure" lots of kisses and treats for this. :thumb:

Hi Sarge and Looie! Hallie sez she's too tough for any ol' rose to get the better of her! MOM sez...she's pullin' your leg it's fake and the thorns are dull and no matterwhat she tells you...there tweren't any where she was holdin'.

Oh yeay Noel you emailed! I'm sure it is the right email address, I got set up with a new computer 2 days ago with Vista (which stands for Very Irritating System To Access), and am still transferring (or trying to) files from my old computer to this one, all the while getting error messages popping up all over the place. :verdict: I haven't gotten all my emails sorted out so bear with me if I don't find yours I'll post a note here.
