Winston is with a new foster mom now in Mobile. He was so feeble that i feared that when i was at work, something might happen and he would need the vet. So one of the other foster moms has him now that can take him to the vet as needed. I have found out that he is doing well so far with her and has pretty much gotten over his diahrrea. I know he is one happy boy with his new foster mom.
Recently i found out that fldr is getting some new babies in and i am going to be able to foster a little girl. I dont know much about her just yet but will get her in next saturday. I will update on her when i know more and will take pictures and share then. I am looking forward to it too.

Wow!   Well I hope Winston is happy in his new foster home!   Was it hard to see him go?   I'm afraid I couldn't do the foster thing.  It would make me too sad when they leave.   Its great that you will be getting a new one soon.  Let  us know all about her!  Thanks for having the courage to do fostering!!    :apls:

Yes it was hard to give him up. He would get up the bed and sit near me while i would be in the computer. I just got scared that i wouldnt be there if he needed me. His new foster mom is there during the day and the hubby is there at night should he need anything. I think he is progressing fine. Just needed a different set up.
This new foster kid is going to be actually a male. Some changes were made. I do well with males or females as my dogs all do well with whatever comes into the house. They are used to it.
Fostering isnt really hard. I just keep in mind that they are rescued from bad situations and are going into good ones hopefully.
With my bassets, we have kept 5 of them but cant keep that up. We now have 7 dogs. I will just foster but i am sure one day, i will keep another doxie.
