Hannah's birthday

Hannah turned 10 over the weekend, and we had a birthday party for the crew. Melanie baked a layer cake -- ground beef, chicken hearts and eggs -- and some doggie cookies. It was a big hit, especially with Hannah, as you can see!

Oh my gosh - I had to laugh outloud at all the multi colored plates on the counter........you would think it was a birthday party with friends coming over...I know better - it is for all of Hannah's fur-siblings - LOL !!!!

Too cute and I am sure all the puppers thought it was delicious !!!

Ain't that the truth! Fact is, we have another birthday party at the end of the month -- actually the first of March. Our Willie -- the black and tan senior -- was born on Feb. 29 in a leap year. But since there's no Feb. 29 this year, we celebrate on March 1.

Sorry I am late chiming in, Hannah, but I waited until Brekke was otherwise occupied while I typed, so she wouldn't get any ideas! She believes scrambled eggies are the best barkday treat, and I don't want her to think otherwise! Happy, happy 10th barkday, little speckled girl!
