Penny is Burrowing Again!!

For weeks after her surgery and subsequent ER visits Penny would just go to sleep wherever we would lay her down

. She really didn't move at all or try to burrow. Well it seems she must be feeling better because the last three days or so she has started to burrow again. Unfortunate for those Pennycam viewers (since all you see is a lump of blankets) but glad she is feeling more like herself. Last night I uncovered her from her burrow and she was not pleased! :ticked:

LOL !!!! Yes, I have noticed the pink heart shaped lump the past few days !!!! That is great news !!! Go Penny girl !

Doing what comes natural for a dachsie is GREAT news for Penny! :apls: She is doing so well! You must be thrilled to see her making progress.

ps mum here do any of the boys burrow in blankies none of mine have, I cover them up but the girls have all snuggled.

That is really interesting Roberta. Both of my boys are HUGE burrowers! Beatrice and Buelah are both snugglers although they do go under the covers when they are chilly.

Thanks! Her back is looking excellent - the scab is all gone now and her hair is starting to grow back :thumb:

It is great to see her burrowing. At least we have a pretty blanket with hearts on it to look at when Penny is in hiding!

You GO, Penny! Kari, this is WONDERFUL news!

My Dolly will burrow in 100 degree heat. Maddie can take it or leave it mostly, unless mommy or papa are under the covers too and there's exposed LEGS and TOES under there.
