Hello from Boulder City Nevada

Just thought I would introduce myself and my crew....

I live in Boulder City , NV "Home of Hoover Dam", I have 3 children, ages, 14, 11, and 11 (twins), they keep my husband and I pretty busy..I am also owned by a 9 yr old Basset Hound "Jessie", a 3 yr old Mini Dachshund "Nellie", almost 2 yr old Rat Terrier "Chipper", and a 4 yr old black hairy cat "Lucy".  One day I hope to add a Wire Haired Dachshund to my family.   
I have a story about Nellie, I thought I would share...about 16-17 yrs ago when my husband (boyfriend at the time) moved in with each other we decided to get a dog, we went to a High Kill shelter and adopted our beloved mutt "Aussie" she was a wonderful dog and added much joy to our lives, she passed away 3 yrs ago due to congestive heart failure, she was 13 yrs old...2 months later...our basset hound was still very sad so we decided we should get another dog, well I came across an add in the paper and thats how I found Nellie, come to find out she was born the same day our beloved Aussie had passed away....Nellie is wonderful, never has met a person she didn't like, she loves everyone and everyone loves her.... ....
