Shorter version: A veterinarian told this story he went to a home to examine a 15 year old Irish Wolfhound name of Belker the ddogs owner'sRon & Lisa and their son Shane 4 years old. After the exam told them no hope for the old dog,cancer asked them if they wanted me to euthanasia procedure.The parents wanted the 4 year old to stay saying he might learn from the experience.Everyone sat around the beloved Belker petting him and talking to him.We sat together after Belker passed on ,wondering out loud the sad fact animal lives are shorter than human lives.Shane said I know why,He said People are born so they can learn how to live the good life---like loving everybody all the time and being nice,right? The 4  year old continued Well dogs already know how to to do that,so they do not have to stay as long.Live simply,Love Generously,Care deeply.Speak Kindly,Leave the rest to God.
