Hi all EmmyLou here,  I jus gots ta let you all know dat I did gweat takin care of my momma...  And, she went to the Dr. yeserday, and she is ficially off her crutches....   :apls:   And, in 3 weeks the Dr. told her dat he will take an x-ray, and if everthing looks good den she will be outta her boot too...  My momma also wanted me to lets you all know that if I could of, I would of tore dat tree down...  I really liked the onaments...  So, den my momma and daddy moved dem all up higher so dat I couldn't reach dem...      Can you beweave dat???  But, dey took it down on New Year's Eve...  So, I guess dat means no more onaments for me to pway wif...   :scratch:  Hey Beatrice, I thought bout sendin ya some snows, but my momma sez no, cuz dey would melt....  Sowwy, I twied...  I have a new game dat I's been pwaying latewy....  Ya see, I goes ta bed wif my hoosisser, and den when my momma and daddy are all settled in ta bed, I come running up da stairs, slide through da kitchen and dining room, and den into there bedroom....      Momma sez I sound like a herd of elphants running through da house....  But, it sure is fun, even thoguh I gets griped at for going up and down da stairs....       I will bark at ya later...  *hugs & puppy kisses*  ~EmmyLou

EmmyLou, I'm so glad you did such a great job taking care of your mom. I know she will be glad to have both hands free now! The boot itself isn't too bad, once the crutches are gone! How long will she have to do physical therapy when she gets out of it? I bet you can find a way to help with that and make sure she does her exercises each day.
I love how you go from one room to the next! We fuss at Schatzi for running up and down the stairs, too. She runs down them to get a mouthful of food and then brings it up to our bed to eat it! Thanks for keeping us updated! Schatzi and Molly say Hi and we all say we need to see new pictures!

Hi all, Emmy's mom here:   I do love having both hands free, this is great...  Not sure bout physical therapy yet, I am already doing some exercises here at home, just the basic stretching the mucsle things...  But, I am hoping to avoid alot of therapy as it is soo expensive....  But, I will do what needs to be done....  Oh yeah, Emmy helps with the exercises, but her help is trying to get me to turn my foot faster... lol   She will sit next to it and bite my toes as they come around....     She is a hoot...  Gotta love them babies...   Although, I worry very much about the little stink running up and down the stairs, that just isn't enoguh for her....  Nope, gotta jump up and down, off and on the couch...  Don't worry that the ramp is right there next to her, just jump....      I am at a loss with this one... lol  Sometimes I think she is ADD...  WOW!!!  Get her going and she don't stop... lol  Run and slide through the house....  She's a wild one....  lol   She was a wonderful nurse, naptime was her favorite....  Even though I quit taking the pain pills 6 days after surgery, I'd get bored during the day not being able to do much, so we'd nap....  And, even with just Emmy and I in the big bed, no room for mommy....  Now we know who the bed hog really is.... lol   :crazyeyes:   I will be posting more pictures soon...  We need to go see DeeDee, but that is a little far to drive for pictures... lol  But, probably worth it....   :thumb:   Take care....  *hugs and puppy kisses*  ~Tara and EmmyLou

Hi EmmyLou!  Dis is Beatrice.  I'm awfully glad dat your bwoken mama is gettin all better!  I lub dem ornaments on da Christmas tree!  Mama says dat she puts da special ones up high so dat I don't get dem.  What's wif DAT?  I think dey should ALL be MINE! 
I like yer new game!  It's FUN to sleep in da big bed.  I gets to sleep in da big bed so long as I don't bother Toby-Man an Oscy an Buelah.  Dey gets all MAD when I wake dem up wif kisses an nips!  So I am tryin WEALLY hard to sleep all night long. 
Well I gots some more news to share wif you.
I heard my mama and daddy talkin bout me havin to have da SURGERY!  I don't likes da sound of dat but dey said it must be done!  So in three weeks (which I think is a WEALLY long time), I gots to go to Dr. Marshall and gets dat SURGERY.  It's so's I don't have to worry bout habin any puppies later on when I am big.  Dat is okay I guess cuz we sure do gots enough puppers round here and anyway my mama says dat it's a good thing fer me.  We will see bout DAT! 
Da other thing dat has been goin on is dat I have learned how to HIDE THINGS.  Yep...mama found all my stuff in my cwate when she went to wash my blakies.  She found two of my daddies sockies and she found her slipper and she found my two green bows dat I snuck in dat cwate.  Worstest of all was dat she found da two bones dat I took from Buelah when she wasn't lookin! 
So NOW she keeps checkin in my cwate to see what's I gots in der.  So now I need to find a new place to hide my stuff.  Do you have any ideas??????? 
Tell your mama dat my mama says she is glad dat she is not as bwoken anymore!  You did a WEALLY good job takin care of yer mama.  Puppy kisses to you!

Hi Beatrice, Emmy here:  My momma and daddy hab been talkin bout dat surgewy too???     I think dat I am a little nervous...  How bout you???  But, I do know dat I defnately don't want any babies, I am much too young for dat, and sides, I hab a bunch of fwiends to pway wif...  And, your right, we do hab enough puppers around here and soo many more dat need dopted, my momma told me dat dis makes her soo sad, and dat I am one of da lucky ones to have been found before I had ta be fostered...   

And, I do hab some ideas for you....  I always hid my stuff under da big bed...  Den if they want to get it, dey hab ta get down on da floor to find it, and sometimes crawl under da bed....       YOU took bones fwom Beulah????     Are you cwazy??????    :crazyeyes:  I twied to get into Mollee's cwate ta get her bone, and thank goodness dat her door was shut, she was NOT a happy Mollee, she growled at me!!!!!       So, now I know dat da door is shut, and I get real close just ta make her growl...      But, my momma sez dat I am pushin my luck, and I better behabe???  Yeah right!!!  ME???      So, jus don't try dis unless dat dere cwate doors are shut real tight!!!   OK??

I probley will be a little bit nervous when I go to Dr. Marshall for dat SURGERY.  Mama sez dat It is jus like habin a BIG nap!  I do like dem naps.  She said dat dey will gib me some medicine if it hurts (which I do not like da sound of )
When Toby-man gets his medicine he gets it wif PEANUT BUTTER!  Hab you eber had da PEANUT BUTTER?  My hoobrudder Alex was here for da Christmas and he put a tiny bit of da PEANUT BUTTER on my NOSE!  Yep...I had to lay on my back and lick and lick till I gots every bit of it.  It sure is good!  So I guess dat I won't be nervous if I gets dat PEANUT BUTTER! 
I DID take dem bones from Buelah!  I waited and waited till she went outside to potty and den I grabbed em in my teef and I ran WEALLY fast wif dem.  Mama thought dat Buelah got dem back and hid dem herself till she found dem in my cwate. 
I'm gonna try hidin things under da bed.  I like to run under da bed when it's time to go to sleep and mama has to go lookin all over fer me.  It's pretty funny!
Did I tell you dat I'm gonna go to Puppy School on Saturday?  Mama sez dat I gots to go since I act like I been raised by wolves...whateber DAT means!    
Tell your mama to help you write to me soon an let me knows how you are doin.  If you gets any more good hiding spots, you let me know and I'll let you know what I find!

Hi Beatrice,  I did get ta twy dat peanut butter...  Yep, it was DEWICIOUS!!!!!  But it sure is sticky....    I licked and licked and licked, den I dranked a bunch of water....  Ya know what i fink???  I finks we are pwetty bwave....  I finawy gots Mollee's bone....  But, I did it when she was in da room wif me....  Boy did I run!!!!!!!!!!     But, I did find a new hidin spot!!  Mollee and Bodie can't fit behind da couch!!!!  But, I can.....       So, dere's ya anuder new hidin spot!!!  Puppy school!?!?!?!  Now dat don't sound like much fun!!!  But, it did make my momma laugh....  And, she says dat she has ta agwee wif your momma about being raised by wolves...  Now I weally don't understand dat, since we are such good puppies....      Maybe dat means dat we are sissers!!!  But, I have already gotten da campin lecture!!!  I like ta watch da tv and dere was some wolves on one time and dey's was howling, so I barked at dem....  Well, den my momma told me dat I better be more careful den dat in da mountains when we's go camping....  She sez dat we hab wolves AND gwizleys close by!!!!  Can you bewieve dat????  Now I am not so sure dat I wanna do dis camping fing!!!!  But, momma sez dat when we go camping, evewybody goes...  Well, except dat dumb old cat!!!  I hope you do good in puppy school....  Momma sez dat we live to far away for me ta go, so I's jus gotta learn on my own...      I don't like ta get into twouble, but is sure is fun until dey catch me....  I jus run and go na na na.....       Jus like dat!!!  I jus don't like ta gets caught, specially by my daddy....  Gosh he's scawy!!!!!    Now my momma and daddy hab been talkin bout moving....  My daddy is twyin ta get a new job...  He has his resume in at two different places, so dey say dat if we gets a call, we will move to either Rock Springs, or Boise....  Dat sure sounds like a long ways fwom home, I jus hope dat dey don't forget my hidin spots....   :xfinger:   My momma sez dat we will do a lot better if we do move, so keep your fingers cwossed for my daddy...   Hope dat you write back soon...  *hugs & puppy kisses*   ~EmmyLou
