FROM MISTY: I have clean teeth!!!

I had to go to the vet yesterday because I had a broken tooth.  So my vet decided that it was a good time to clean my teeth as well.  Mom brought me to work first cause it was real early.  I was safely in my kennel but everyone wanted to see how cute I was so mom let me out.  I sat on mom's lap and growled at everybody, just to let them know that I wasn't easy.  I even barked a couple times.  I mostly just sat on mom's lap and did this low grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr thing and everyone was real scared of me.  (Yeah, right, Misty!)
Mom took me to the vet and my doc, Dr. Rapp, who is very cool took me into the back and gave me a shot that turned me into silly putty and I didn't care about anything then.  Besides my broken tooth being pulled, I had to have four more teeth pulled.  Dr. Rapp called mom to tell her and he said I would feel much better after those nasty teeth were pulled.  He didn't even charge mom extra!!!  He is SO good to us.  When mom came to pick me up, my eyes were still at half-mast.  But I wagged my tail when I saw mom!  I slept in my kennel all the way home, I even snored!  At home I growled at Willy and Alex, then mom gave me a big spoonful of cottage cheese.  Then I took a nap on the couch.  A couple hours later mom gave us rice for dinner.  I heard I might score some scrambled eggs tonight!  The doc sent home wormers for me and the boys.  It's been a while since we were wormed, and I need proof of worming before I start school, so..............school starts January 13th. for me!

Misty you sweet sweet girl....it sounds like you did REALLY well with your dental work.  I bet it was lots of fun to go to work with your mama and scare all of those people! 
When are you going to start school with your mom?  I LOVE your pictures!  Are you guarding the deck on your new house in the middle one?  I bet your mama and daddy are glad to have such a good watchpup for your new house!

Terri, Misty starts school on January 13th.  I think she will have a lot of fun at school if she lightens up a little.  She gets all growly when she is away from Willy and Alex because SHE is afraid.  But that is with people, she might be different with other dogs, especially if there is another little dog in the class.  When I took Willy to school, all the other dogs were big, and Willy wanted nothing to do with them.

I'm thinking about taking Beatrice to puppy school before the others teach her all of there bad habits.

When I took Misty to the bow-wow at DD's years ago, when Misty was only a year old, she did well with the other dogs.........well, she was pretty good.  She was the first dog on the scene and took up the position of alpha in DD's house.  As I recall, she even pushed Siglen off Julia's lap so she herself could sit there.  When we had the big picnic in the backyard, Misty was loving it.  I was watching her rest in the shade of a table, and she was just looking around taking it all in, she had a blast with the other dogs.  I think there was 12 people and 15 dogs in DD's yard that day. 
Oh, and when we went to Al's house in Portland, during the same bow-wow, Jill's little chihuahua-doxie mix boy Winston, took a shine to Misty and vice-versa.  He was a bit forward but when he would stop, Misty would bark at him to get his attention again.  It was a riot.

Misty was wonderful when she was out here! She really did have a good time. I remember standing at the kitchen window with you watching her socializing with everyone in the back yard.

LOL she is going to have to hand out sunglasses to her brudders when she shows those shiney pearly whites! Feels good to have her teeth done I'll bet.

Hallie and I are headed to class tonight. Even though I don't compete with her anymore, she still loves to work and would miss it so when the weather is bad I take her just so she can socialize. She is such a social butterfly she loves everyone and thinks they are all there just to see her. The group is really nice too they will cheer and clap for her as she gaits around the ring and when they do, she gets really animated and her tail goes 90 mph. She is SO bored right now because we are having a big wind/rain storm (again...surprise) and we didn't get out to walk today, so she'll be happy to go to class in about an hour!

Aww, Misty-girl, you will feel so much better with those toofies gone!  We love the picture of you and your papa!

Heheheh - yes, indeed, Misty did push Siglen off my lap - but that's okay!  I loved it and Siglen was a social hostess at home or away.  Gretl was definitely no alpha or even beta, so it didn't disturb her world a bit!  Misty and Winston were an hilarious odd couple at Al's, all right!

LOL that's right, Winston was playing Ride'em Cowboy with Misty! They were a cute couple!!
Siglen was such a sweetie too...I am so glad I got to meet so many of these guys! That was quite a long time ago now, I can't even remember life without Hallie...you guys gave me a GREAT doxie fix when I didn't have my own!
