I heard on the news about an hour ago that there was a explosion of a natural gas pipeline in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  The flames were visible as far as Greeley and Fort Collins, Colorado!   If anyone has any updated news about this.  Let me know.  I have family that lives there and works near that area.  There are 7-14 people missing and 1 person dead last I heard.  What a tragedy!

Well, they found all the missing people.  Only one person was killed.   My family is all fine.  I'm pretty sure the fire is gone now.  I am surprised that this did not receive more news coverage though.      I only saw it on FOX news.  You know, since this was near the Terry Bison Ranch, the tragedy could have been so much worse!   I'm not sure of the exact location it happened though.

I do know they shut off the pipeline feed right away. This pipeline supplies both Wyoming and Colorado with natural gas. I am thinking it might also supply parts of Nebraska.   :dontknow:  So..I'm guessing since they shut it off, some people are without heat.  Its a mighty cold day for that!   It is 55 degrees outside where I live, but it feels much colder.  I'm also anticipating natural gas rate hikes for these people in the future too since the pipeline is closed down for now.  i could be wrong though.  i'll try and tune my radio to the cheyenne AM station and see what they are saying about it.  So far, that hasn't worked.
