Porky here: Is somefing wrong wif me?!

Ok...today was da second day dat I was good ALL day long!  I'm not sure what is happening to me. All of a sudden I just wanna be a good boy.     Is dis part of gwowing up???     :scratch:   All I do know is it is hard work being so good!   I did find out dat the more good I do, da more i get tweats!    I lub those!!!   And, its fun to watch momma jump up and run for da tweats when I do something good. 

Momma and I played a really FUN game today.  Its called da "bark and sit" game.   Dose are da twricks we are working hard on right now.  Momma sits on da floor in front of me and I look at her and wait.  Den...she does this fing wif her hand dat means to bark one time.  So..I bark and get a tweat.  Den....after that, I look at her again and she does somefing else wif her hand and dat means to sit.  When I sit..I get another tweat!  Den..for Round two I do bof da twicks and get  tweat.  It is so fun!! 

I just been so good da last two days, I'm wondering if somefing is wrong wif me.  What do you fink??

Dolly here.  As an older, wiser, even getting into senior dachsiedom, I speak to you as an auntie with many years under her tail.  You are doing a fine job, young man, of making your mommy PROUD!  It is GOOD to make the mommy smile.  And it's good to have a few tricks up your sleeve.  Keep up the good work, young'n.  You will soon know the wisdom of leading a couch potato life and eating anything that drops on the floor or runs down the side of a cabinet.

Well, I still likes to hab my fun!   I do da twash fing too, but momma hid all da twashes in da closets.  I really like to whine, but onwy in da night.  Den I can make da hoomans fink i'm cold and dey let me in da big bed.     I got dem fooled dere.   I am still running my "wild man laps" around and around da house but, I finks its pwetty fun being good too.

I fink I have a good mix of bof your behaviors, what's dat supposed to mean???    Momma says I'm in a twansition wight now.  And soon, I'll be a big boy.  Dats kinda scawy. I'm 'fraid to get big if all I getta do is be good all da time.  Sheesh!   A boy's gotta have some fun!   Maybe I'll just find somefing good and fun, like da bark and sit game. 

Emmy Lou,  I weally like to do da digging fing too.   Dat is da most funnest fing eva!!!  You gotta twy the sock steawing fing.  Oh my goodness, you don't know fun till you twy dat.  It makes da momma's run all over da house!     Its so funny!

See... ebee time I go outside to do my biness, my hoomom gibs me a tweat. Soooo... being da super-de-dooper hunter goggie dat I am... (I hunts for dem gosh darn --super-fast sawamaners in mommy's fwower borders--but i NEBER catches dem!!)
