Favorite Place to Lick

Is there a favorite place on you that your dachsies like to lick?   We've discovered that Zora not only goes for the face, she like to lick you right on your mouth.   The problem is that as you try to tell her "Stop", as soon as you open your mouth, she slips you the tongue!  It reminds me of that one scene in "Vacation" where the Clark Griswold's daughter is talking to her cousin:

Cousin:  "I can french kiss."
Daughter:  "So what?  Everyone does that."
Cousin:  "Yeah, but Daddy says I'm the best."

Where else but on this board could I admit to getting tongue-kissed by my dog and not have people think I'm a lunatic?

Sounds like Zora could be related to Schatzi. She is really bad with Randy. And then he starts laughing and it gets even worse. And when she can't get him to open his mouth, she goes for the nose so he will have no choice but to open his mouth. It's amazing how quickly they figure out things like that! She does the same thing when Molly has a toy she wants. She starts licking her nose so Molly can't breathe and will drop the toy!

Roscoe aims his tongue right up your nose if he can.  Gwen is more of a feet/ankle licker, but she's been trying to lick my belly these past few months too.  Rudy is not a big kisser.  He actually does more "grooming" of us.  He tries to lick out our ears and around our eyes.

Brandy is a tongue kisser !!!!  She always goes for the face and you sure can't say anything to her - because you will get the "frenchie" !!!!    She also likes to lick my bare legs and ankles.   I can ask Rudy for a kiss and most of the time he will give me a smooch - but I am ready for him !

My first Dachsie, Dixie was a lover of ears!  If you picked her up, you could be guaranteed a good ear cleaning....(tickles).  Dolly and Maddie want nothing to do with ears, but they love just about everywhere else acceptable.  Dolly LOVES the french kiss and up the nosey.  She is also a specialist in Lickology when it comes to one getting out of the shower.  Feet and legs!  Maddie, we call the junior partner.  She LOVES in between toes for out of the shower feet.  Also Maddie loves crooks of elbows and behind the knees.  And Dolly's most favorite place to lick?  HER TUMMY!  She is in LOVE with her belly. :idiot:

The Nose, definitely the nose, but don't leave your mouth open...

Back when Clfford was a spring chicken and I was working at AT&T, I would sometimes take him into our office if I had a day off.  He got lots of attention and caused a little bit of a ruckus as well.  One morning as he was running under desks searching for food, there was a loud SHRIEK from one of my co-workers.  She thought a RAT had run across her feet!!!!  But, the best was when another woman picked him up and was loving on him.  Well, his tongue was faster than she anticipated and she yelled out "EWWWWWW, he slipped me the tongue".

Skeeter isn't a big kisser, but sometimes she'll give me a shy kiss on the face.  I also get unsolicited kisses on my feet and ankles.  I am VERY ticklish there so that drives me nuts.  Sometimes I do a little hopping dance as my feet try to evade her tongue!

Boone loves to kiss and goes for just about anywhere on the head and face.  He wakes me with kisses most mornings.  I don't think I've given him opportunity to slip me the tongue, but he will stick his tongue in my ear and nostril if I'm not careful, so it seems he will go into any opening on my head that he can find!

Berman is a very gentle kisser. He kisses right on the mouth and will put his paws on either side to hold you steady.  Lucy is nuts and just kisses all over.  She seems to really like eyelids.

Porky loves to give the "frenchies" too.  I noticed he only does that with the women.   :thinik:  With my husband and his hoo grandpa's he usually goes for the ears or the hands.   Every morning, I am awakened by a tounge on the mouth, and my husband is awaked by a slitherly slimy tongue right in the ear canal!   Porky pretty much licks all the time.  If he wants to lay down somewhere, he licks the spot over and over again till he is sure its clean.  Or if he lays on your lap, he licks and licks until he feels its wet enough and clean enough to be comfortable. LOL  We don't seem to notice it anymore,but he went to sit on one of our guests laps the other day and started licking away.   Unfrotunately, she was wearing a skirt, so she wasn't too happy about it. Although everyone else thought it hilarious!

LOL I remember that line in "Vacation".

Hallie is a gentle kisser, but not obsessed with kissing. She will only kiss your face, she gives one kiss if asked ("give Mom a kiss?" results in a kiss on the cheek, "give mom a hug" she immediately lays her head across your shoulder and neck and hugs) but if you are eating she tries to kiss your mouth I tell her I am NOT going to regurgitate my food for her like the wolves do LOL.

Penny is an obsessive licker!! Anywhere and everywhere but she loves the mouth, ears and nose! She knows that Drew hates it and doesn't do it to him as much as she does it to me.

Schatzi is also a "hugger". Randy had taught Kendall-angel how to hug and it didn't take him long at all to teach Schatzi to do the same. She will do it for him on command, but for me, she just does it when I first pick her up or when she wants to. Forget me getting a hug when I want to! She is also one who loves bare legs and really loves to help get the water off after the shower, but only me, not Randy. They can be so picky sometimes!
