Adorable collectible plate...

This is so cute! And SO true! I saw an ad for it in the coupon book that comes in our Sunday paper, so I looked the image up online so I could share it here. It's by Gary Patterson and is titled, "Bed Hog". Again....SO TRUE!

That is so funny, looks just like your avatar! (which is one of my favorite pictures of all time) It really is true...I always lay in the middle of the bed hoping that will help but by morning I have about 5 inches of the edge of the bed and Hallie has the rest. :) It's better than the first few months when I got my Great Dane, I only had a twin bed so he got the bed and I slept on a mat on the floor next to the bed. So even 5" of bed is a luxury now LOL.

I saw this in the paper last Sunday and Laughed so hard. I thought no matter how much room you have when go to sleep you will have less when you wake up. I am planning on getting the plate myself ...

I got this in the mail to order !!! I think it is $30 - I am debating it !!! Even if I don't order the plate, I may frame the insert (the picture you posted below) - it is so cute !

WE have Gary Patterson's book Weiner Dog Art. I think this picture is in that book. I'm going to have to go and look through it and see. The funny thing about us having the book is we bought it long before we had a doxie because Randy loves Gary Patterson's stuff. After we had Kendall-angel for a few months, I came across the book and really laughed at some of the cartoons in it!

That just cracks me up!! Porky does exactly like the picture, kicking and the whole bit.

There's only one thing he got wrong....the doxie wasn't a hidden lump under the covers!! There is no way that Porky would dare sleep on top of the covers. Our bedspread is made of slippery fabric so as soon as we move...WHOOOSH he'd be ont he floor! LOL

I have the Weiner Dog Art book...that one is not one of the illustrations, although there are several other funny ones.

A few years ago on the old board, someone (DD?) was posting illustrations from a pre-World War II German book on dachshunds. Unless you read German, you couldn't understand the captions, but the pictures were so well done that you could tell what was going on no matter what language.

Does anyone else remember this and/or the title of the book?
