1. Where do you live? Montpelier, Idaho Oh, I meant the coldest, most unpredictable place on earth...

2. Spouse? Significant other? Philip, we were married 8 years on August 1st.

3. Children - how many and ages. We have 4 children: Skylar-12, Katelyn-10, Jeremiah-7, Shanelle-6.. 3 furkids: Emmy and Mollee & Bodie (Cocker Spaniels) 4 cats, and a horse, and a guinea pig, and a cockatiel.... It's a zoo....

4. What do you do for a living? I am a homemaker, not sure I would have time for anything else... LOL Although I am looking into starting my own coffee and pastry shop... There are none here in town... It will be alot of work, but I LOVE to bake.... I hope it pans out...

5. If you dare.....your age and describe yourself ! UGH!!! Okay, I am 31 years young, brown hair w/highlites, blue eyes, 5'6", and a little on the chunky side...

6. What is your dream car/vehicle? Color? Hmmm... I guess I will have to wait until the kids are gone to college for this one... But, it would have to be a Dodge Viper in midnight blue....

7. Other than your passion for dachshunds, what are your hobbies? Camping, bowling, hiking, reading ( I love my romance books), cooking and many more....

8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Definately Spain, I would love to find out about my ancestors.. Ireland, for the same reason... And of course Tahiti or anywhere warm for that matter...

9. Do you collect anything? Dolphins and Dragonflies.. And, shotglasses from every state(we are almost done) Do kids and furkids count??? :scratch:

10. Favorite Food/ Favorite junkfood. My favorite food would have to be anything Mexican or Italian... Junkfood would have to be potato chips, I don't like chocolate much anymore.... And, I LOVE jerky... I can't live without the stuff...

11. Favorite Movie? I like all movies it is hard to pick a favorite... But, it would have to be Pretty Woman, Walk the Line, and I am a fanatic for the National Lampoon's movies...

12. Favorite Color? Any shade of blue or purple....

13. Favorite Song/Artist.. I like all music, mainly country... But, my favorite would have to be Trace Adkins- Swing, Deirks Bentley- Every Mile A Memory, and Carrie Underwood- Next Time He Cheats (it shows a completely new side to her)

14. Tell us a funny story about yourself. Well, I don't think this is too funny, but my hubby does... A couple of weeks ago I was just getting out of the shower and grabbed my towel to wrap my hair, I WIPED MY FACE WITH THIS TOWEL, and when I pulled it back there was a HUGE!! spider that took up residency on my towel... AHHHHH!! I am deathly scared of spiders.... So, I throw the towel on the floor as I let out a blood curdling scream(like in a horror movie), then I was frozen in that spot... My hubby came running in and asked what was wrong and all I could say was KILL IT!!!! My poor hubby thought it was something really drastic, but a spider honey??? Who's bigger?? I said the spider was definately bigger... I thought I would have a heartattack for sure.... Now to this day I will shake my towels before using them... ACK!! I am shaking with the memory...

15. What is the most exciting thing you have ever done? First thing would have to be giving birth to my children... What a rush... And, secondly I would have to say going to D.C. with my highschool choir when I was 16 to sing for the President....

16. If you won the lotto, what would you do with the money? HAHAHA.... Not counting on that, so I haven't made any plans... Probably set some back for kids college, pay off all my debts, build my house with plenty of acreage for my doggies, kids and horse... Then donate to whatever I can find, and if there is any left, VACATION!!!

17. What are you most proud of? My kids foremost, and learning how to be a single mother of 2 before I met my wonderful hubby...

18. Any other tidbits about you that you would like to share? Come on..... T.V.!!! I LOVE T.V.!!! Even cartoons... lol And, diet coke... Lots and lots of diet coke....

OOOOOH! your spider story is not funny! Its freaky!!! I too, am TERRIFIED of spiders! I can catch snakes, but spiders, NO WAY!!!! I'm allergic to them, so if i get bitten by one I swell up and get all itchy. At least you could tell you husband to "Kill it" When i see one, all I can do is scream and point at it! Your coffee/pastry shop sounds fun!! As far as TV goes, I'm glad i'm not the only TV head. Cartoons are the best!!! I loved your writeup! It was very interesting and great to hear all about you!

Happy POD, Tara! I hope your two- and four-legged kids help you enjoy it. Have plenty of chips, diet Coke, and cartoons today! (Piink Panther, Roadrunner, and Thundercats are my favorites.)

Wow I thought Northern Illinois was cold! A year ago July I seen Dierks Bentley in concert and loved it and I also seen Trace Adkins in concert.

My mom really helped me enjoy my POD today... :thumb: She took me to get my nails done... I haven't had them done since I was 17... They feel strange.. lol Still trying to figure out how to type with them on...

We also had lunch at our favorite Mexican restaraunt... YUMMY!!!!

My favorite cartoons are definately Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo and The Flinstones... Never been to Northern Illinois, but if it is cold, then it too is probably the coldest place on earth.. lol I don't like the cold... I would rater hibernate... How exciting to see them in concert... I plan on it next time they come through here... Yes, the spider thing still has me shaking.. But, I am also a little scared of snakes... My hubby is deathly afraid of snakes, now that is funny... Even the fake ones.. lol
As soon as I figure out how to post pics I will ....

It worked!!!! YEAH!!!! :apls: The one of me and my hubby is old... It was taken in 2000... My hair is much shorter now... The first one was Emmy's first day with us...

Now I will post some more...

On this set the first is our 4 children taken last summer on one of our picnics..
the second is Mollee, my mother Cocker Spaniel.. Yes, she has pigtails... lol She was adorable...
The third is Bodie, Mollee's son...

Hope you all liek them...
