Hemi the doxie...well...he's not Hemi now!

When Hemi went to live w/ my Mom about a month ago she had thought about calling him Finnie. Well she said she wasn't as fond of that name as she thought and now she calls him Buddy!
Buddy is settling in w/ Mom just beautifully!! I know for a fact he LOVES being an only dog!! Mom took him to the vet last week and had him neutered and they also pulled two baby teeth that were preventing the big dog teeth from coming in. He's recovered quite nicely!
Jessica and her three kids went to Mom's a couple weeks ago and had lunch. The kids were thrilled to see Buddy and he was even more thrilled to see them! My oldest grandson, Ty (9), sat and held him in his lap for quite a while. Buddy was quite content...and so was Ty!
So all in all, this move from Jessica's home to Mom's has been beneficial to our little friend!

I'm so glad the move went well for everyone!!!  I like the name Buddy.  I'm sure it suits him quite well!

Yes, it does! He is proving to be a good 'buddy' for my Mom! She LOVES sitting and holding him on her lap when she reads or watches tv!! Happy pupper!!!!!!!
