3.  Children - how many and ages.  No human kids, just furkids



4.  What do you do for a living?   Patty: Computer Drafting, VECO,  Dan:  General Manager, Wasilla Auto


Here we are at my company’s Christmas party.

5.  If you dare.....your age and describe yourself !   51, extremely independent and reliable, hard-headed and warm-hearted, loves the outdoors.  Dan is 58, very independent, a hard worker with a dry sense of humor, you never know when he’s serious or pulling your leg.

6.  What is your dream car/vehicle?   Color?  Red Ford Mustang, and I’m lucky enough to own one!!!

7.  Other than your passion for dachshunds, what are your hobbies?  Horses (of course!)  And I love to cook, and have people over for dinner. 

8.  If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?   In Europe it would be Italy.  In the USA…Hawaii and anywhere along the Washington and Oregon coastline.  I would love to stay at a B&B on the Washington coast, sit by a roaring fire, read a good book, drink wine, eat clam chowder and walk along the beach for miles.

9.  Do you collect anything?   Cookbooks, antique barometers, old horses, good wines………

10.  Favorite Food/ Favorite junkfood.  Pasta and Mexican food.  Cheese enchiladas, French onion soup, macaroni and cheese, chocolate ice cream.   

11.  Favorite Movie â€" Homecoming with Ann Bancroft, Lonesome Dove, It’s a Wonderful Life

12.  Favorite Color   Blue, Turquoise, Fuchia, Violet (unless it’s a Ford Mustang then its gotta be RED)

13.  Favorite Song/Artist â€" Pachabel’s Canon, Electric Light Orchestra, Selena, Enya

14.  Tell us a funny story about yourself.  I’d have to leave this one to Dan.

15.  What is the most exciting thing you have ever done?   I learned how to fly and earned my Private Pilots license when I was 23. 

16.  If you won the lotto, what would you do with the money?  Pay off all my debt, then take my family and friends on a cruise.

17.  What are you most proud of?   Learning how to drive a horse-drawn carriage and becoming a top Driver for Horse Drawn Carriage Company. 


AND the day ELLE Magazine (Korea Division) discovered Domingo and did a photo shoot at our house.



18.  Any other tidbits about you that you would like to share?  Come on.....
I love the outdoors, I’m a cold-weather person.  I love to take walks along a windy beach with the surf roaring, or when we are having a big snow storm.  I also love having a fire in my woodstove on a blustery day.  I love blizzards as long as I don’t have to drive in them.

Wow! Everyone seems to have such neat and interesting lives - I better get to doing some fun things in the next 2 weeks!

Patti - I agree with Leslie - I just love your whole lifestyle.  I've always loved cold weather.  Unfortunately, we only get a couple of months of it here in Oklahoma!  And I love snow - just the sereness of it - so calming (unless you're driving in it!).

Great write up.... and I was anxious to read, because Alaska is one of my dream places to visit.
I was surprised by the two awesome Mustangs..... I figured you'd need industrial 4-wheel drive up there since the Mustang I had as a teen was notoriously bad in the snow.  Hope you both had a great day.

Mustangs ARE very notorious in the snow.  Horrible!!!  That is why we both have a Ford Escape to drive in the winter.  The Escape can handle any winter condition that comes along!

I do not fly anymore, I am not "current", it would take about 10 hours of instruction to get me up to snuff again.  Horses are my money pit now!
