Has anyone seen this website?  I just stumbled upon it and love it!  I knew there were several colors and patterns, but I don't think I realized just how many there are!

The cream color is pretty.  I saw a long-haired cream doxie once, and she was absolutely gorgeous.

WOW!  What a lovely variety of colors; I could take every one of them home if I could.

I didn't see anything close to Ozzy's coloring.  His DOD is coming up on the 24th and I'll post some pictures (I hope).  Hope someone can help me define his coloring.

This is why I don't have art prints to cover all of them yet LOL. SO many colors! That is a great page, thanks for posting I have it bookmarked. I grew up with a smooth wild boar recessive dachshund, I have not seen another one.

Great Post!  I absolutely love this website! When we were searching for a weiner I considered buying from them until I found the breeder who lived near us. The picture of the red piebald looks exactly like Porky's dad Bastian's Bow.  I knew thare were alot of differnt colorations, but some of the ones posted I had never seen before!

That's cool.  I had no idea there were THAT many different color types!  They're all adorable.

Wow sooooo many colors and types.  Several are listed as "Soft" wires and "Silky" wires .... are these rather new terms?  Are they just made up terms to fit wires who aren't really Wires ??????  So do I call eLlIe  a "Soft Wire" ..... instead of a Wire without wires ??

A correct wire has a harsh double coat... almost looking like a smooth with furnishings (beard & eyebrows)... a soft wire is generally a wire that lacks the double coat and proper texture. A silky wire is what many of the byb and puppymillers use to describe a mix of wire and long (i call them wongs aka wrongs)... which are 2 coats that generally should not be crossed.

Many of the colors/patters and coat types on that website are not correct by the breed standard. The photos of the doubles are very sad :(

I know that Mz eLlIe is a "wrong" in the show ring ...... but she about the most "Mz RIGHT" that there could be for me !!

Here she is in her "LadyBug" coat  ...... or B/T wire Red/black dapple?

Well she sure is a cutie i doubt she was from a long x wire cross... those dogs generally look coatwise like Yorkies. Soft Coated wires (not the WONGS...lol) can crop up in the best of breedings just like any other fault... might not make them good for the showring but makes them perfect for loving :)  Silky Wires aka Wongs are bred with the specific purpose to make money off their wongness... make sense? LOL
