about 4 am yesterday morning, lilly got up and threw up. she was running around playing that morning and seemed ok throughout the evening. we were sitting out on the deck and she threw up all her food from dinner. Still, she didnt act too terribly sick or anything. around 10 pm i gave her one of her little treats and seh threw up again! Im worried. The only thing I can think of is Sunday night we gave her some steak and Im wonderif steak is bad for them? Was it the spices? She seemed find this morning, her nose was cold and she was running around. Should I be worried?

Has it been very hot?  My Buelah tends to throw up when she is overheated.  Make sure that she gets lots and lots of water and keep an eye on her.  If she threw up again, you might want to contact your vet.

Porky has been doing that lately also.  He has been getting sick from this horrible heat we have been having.  I found if I put him in the bathtub in the afternoon in some lukewarm water, it helps him cool off and feel much happier.  It also keeps his tummy from getting upset.    Hope  poor Lily feels better soon!!  Rays to Lily

Thanks so much for everything. We took her to the vet yesterday and he said she was just too cute to be sick! LOLOL just kidding, he said she either picked up a bug from the groomers last week or it was the steak we gave her. he said just to watch her to make sure she poops, ect and she should be fine. she did throw up last night a couple times, but we gave her a little food this am and she seemed to keep it down. I just hate it that I couldnt give her a treat when I left for work and I was running soooo late and I didnt have time for belly rubs :-(. Now i just picture her poor little baby at home alone. If I could, I would leave now!

Hope your baby is feeling better.  Check with your vet first, but our vet told us we can give them regular strength Pepto Bismol when they have upset tummies.  The dosage depends on weight (Franks get 1ml).  I just shoot it in their mouths with a needleless syringe ot pipet.

when i was first getting a dashie and was looking up the net for information it said dashie have stomachs of steel yet my dashie is always getting sick one time i had to bring him to the vet because he was getting sick for 2 days its not his dinner it is like a vile. but when i brought him she said he was okay. the only other thing is that he is eating things in the back yard that he shouldn't.
