Two more weeks!!!!!!!!!!

Yea two more weeks and i get to pick up Bish's new sister. I am so excited, we spent all day over at her breeders house had lunch and just hung out. She is a Cream Dapple (mini) she has the longest short hair I have seen on Doxie puppies. She is a real sweety I kept putting her in the play pen with her sisters and brothers and she would sniff around the want to be held again. Her name is Couer d'Alenes Majestic Aqua (Lannie). I cant wait to bring her home, it was a real tough decision between her and her sister (cream no dapple) but when we first saw them (at 3 weeks) Lannie was calm and patient just like Bish was, and the other girl was fiesty. I can only post one pic b/c they are too big which is a bummer i have a ton of cute pics. Let me know what you think!

Lannie is a real cutie (like any dachsie pup isn't!!!). If you resize the photo in your photo editor to about 3x4 (or 4x3) inches, it reduces the file size as well.

I have already got her to know when to kiss back, she is so cute with her puppy breath. She gets all excited when i make kissie noises, oh how i wish i could have taken her home yesterday but nothing has been re-puppy proofed yet (this weekend project while hubby works in Vegas for 3 weeks!).

I use Photo Bucket to store my photos and can just copy and paste IMG address right into the body of the post. You can then enter spaces between each addy and do your text. Photobucket also has the URL and Tag available - you just copy and paste. Very easy !

She is adorable!!! What a cute puppy. Congratulations on your new addition!

I use Flickr to upload and then post my pictures here. This is what I do:

Then you can type text either above or below that line. Here is an example:

This is a picture of Chilie as a puppy.

Hope this helps. We'd love to see tons more pictures of that cutie pie puppy!!!

Bish hasnt got to meet her just yet but Friday the 21st he wil get to see her

he is such a good boy I know he will be good with her any little pup he has come across he is so very gentle with. And he has been very good b/c I have been "cheating" on him with a stray cat (poor skinny kitty)

I have already made her first vet appt, and the tech laughed that i called two weeks b/f I have gotten her.

I do too, but i will have to see what i can do I think i will be playing around with the puter this weekend NTM Bishs DOD is Next week (wow what a busy week for me!) so i will have to work on that this weekend!

Sunday was the second time that i got to see her and it was like she knew she was my puppy. UGH! I am dying with excitement, if she wasnt in Esco. I would go to see her everyday!

As mentioned above this is the stray she is soooo very skinny but has really warmed up to me. She waits by the back door for me to come out and pet & feed her. i think she was someone cat, she cant be more than 9-10mos but she has had a litter of kittens (cant find them

) so i think that is why someone dumped her

. Anywhooo, got to run the boss is looking at me w/ :crazyeyes:

she is a calico cat and she seems to be in half way decent body condition. If you wanted to take her in I am sure it would require minimum vet care and nursing her back to health. Not sure if that is your intentions but thought that might be your thoughts.

Actually it is! She looks like a cat i had as a kid, I am slowly getting her used to me picking her up, so that I can get her fixed, I wish i kney where her kittens are there are so many coyotes, hawks and owls that have swooped up small dogs & cats in my area that i worry about her & her kittens. She is a very odd cat, she will hiss at me if i dont pet her and if i walk away from her she acts like she is going to attack but when i put my hand out and just stand there she starts to purrr and go in and out between my legs even if i start waking. I spoil her she gets a huge bowl of food during the day and a can at dinner (and i top off her bowl for the night) plus fresh water (even though she sometimes prefers my pool water (YUCKY).

Your new baby is just adorable. You have a lot of entertainment ahead! I'm sure Bish will do great. Bless you for caring for the kitty too! It is so heartbreaking to see a skinny stray...she is a beautiful kitty. I lost my calico, Sophie, last January at the age of 20. I hope this all works out your family is really growing.

My Hubby will be gone all weekend so I will have her (and Bish) all to my self!!!!!! I think at first I am going to set up a bed for her next to our bed so that i sont have to go thru what I went thru with Bish (peeing on my bed and not a cheap bed either

) But I am sure that i will cave just like I did with Bish (he was in our be the same night) we will see, I might just end up buying a plastic sheet or saw screw it I hate the bed anyway. (Never buy a tempurpedic they arent worth the $ sleep # is the way to go! -that will be in another $3000 saved

) UGH, the only thing i am not happy about is driving up to Escondido on a friday afternoon. :crazyeyes:
