Thank you Barb, if anything I'm more stressed tonight than I have been all week, I hope tomorrow goes surprisingly well and with GREAT news. I couldn't go through another week like this without some kind of drugs!! This has been torture waiting. Hallie is feeling awesome though we just got back from the park, we sat on the top of some tall bleachers so she could look all around and sniff the air, she loved it.

Thanks you guys are the best. Does rescue remedy come in 80 proof?
I am trying to pretend it's just another night and not fuss for her sake. I have freshly cleaned comforters and her fleece blankets in the van so when I'm sitting with her while she's waking up hopefully we can do it in the van in the parking lot so she won't have to smell that vet clinic smell any more than necessary. I have the container out to collect her morning pee so they won't have to get it with a needle. And I will bring some stool even though they probably don't need it. I have washed all her blankets and towels to be sure everything is as clean as possible and I have a freshly cleaned fleece blanket on our bed so we can come home and snuggle on the bed all day (or for as long as she wants). I have no idea what to expect so don't know if she'll be leaking a little or what. They said to stop feeding her at 6 but I stopped at 5 to be extra sure she doesn't get sick from the anesthetic. I have carrot ice cubes waiting I'm sure she'll be thirsty (and filtered water in the van for her) and I'll probably make her some rice or something soothing for her first meal. Although I am going to ask what to feed her to keep her stools soft until she is healed up so maybe not rice.
I am just rambling because I hafta!!!
I hope all the doxies are doing ok tonight. I worry about the dogs. Thankfully Hallie isn't bothered by the loud booms, I just took her out to potty and there are fireworks exploding over our heads and it is really loud out there and she didn't even acknowledge them. I was more startled than she was. Of course, my nerves are shot at this point. :)

Dee Dee,

so sorry to hear about this :(  obviously it is very upsetting news. I was hoping it was her back and she was on the way to a speedy recovery. Now it sounds as if it is a tumor and it "could" be malagnent. I am  that she is alright. Please let me know what the vets think and what they are doing for Miss Hallie. Sorry again to hear this Dee Dee I know it breaks your heart, it hurts on my end too, it seems as if I have known you forever.
