We're here and so is the treat box (3B)!

It's been quite a while since we had a chance to post.  Sorry!  Cajsa is doing wonderfully and has been freed from strict confinement.  She still wobbles when she tries to run too fast or turn a corner like she used to so she is confined in her pen while we can't watch her.  Other than that she is her normal self really.  She will stay in the room with David or me and play a little but nothing too rough.  She's wanting to go run with David, but that's not going to happen right now.  We're still working on control when walking quickly. She's great.

Gretchen is doing much better as she adjusts to yet another routine now that Cajsa has been freed.  They sometimes play but they don't rear up and play anymore.  It's generally a little chase across the room to a bone or toy - no tugs or anything though.  Anyway, Gretch has decided that potty pads are the greatest things ever to pee on so that problem is solved.  She prefers going outside, but the pads work well when she can't.  Everyone is happy about that I think!

Elf is a very loving child when she is around the girls and loves to feed them, pet them and give hugs.  It's very sweet to watch.  She's getting so big, but is still very gentle - even with Cajsa's back.  She'll point at the scar and say "hurt" then gives Cajsa a kiss on the head.  Cajsa doesn't always know what the fuss is about, but she's good with it. 

It was so funny watching the girls get into the treat box when it arrived.  Cajsa knew that it was for her, since of course every box that arrives at our house has something for her in it!  Gretchen wasn't sure what it was, but got excited because Cajsa was I think.  When I actually popped open the box and they saw all the toys and treats inside, they went nuts.  Prancing around trying to eat the packages of treats and grab the toys and kill the squeakers - all at the same time.  I had to make them "sit" so I could get the stuff open for them and not get trampled!  David took pictures and I'm hoping he will put them on the computer for me.  (I can do many things, but upload pics from our camera to the computer is not one of them!)  Elf even got a dress and she's wanted to wear it everyday!  It is really very cute and we got a pic of her modeling it!  I'll post it as well. 
The girls made out with tons of loot.  Doggie toys, clothes, treats.   I got a dachsie magnet for the fridge and Elf loves to move it around!  I've been getting the treat box ready and it should be going out soon.  I wonder who the next lucky pupper(s) will be?

SO good to hear from you !  Sounds like things are settling down at your house - that is great news !!!  Can't wait to see pictures of all 3 girls !!!  Isn't the treat box fun ?!?!?!??!?!

We are looking forward to pictures!  I like the story about Elf moving the magnet around, and anxiously await a photo of her in her dress!

I'm so glad to hear that Cajsa is doing so well! The crate rest seems to go on forever doesn't it. I'll bet you are all thankful the worst of that is behind you.
Elf sounds so sweet with the dogs. You really scored with the treat box! I hope David can get the photos up for you, can't wait to see them.

April I'm soo glad all the girls enjoyed the treat box! it caused quit a stir around here both receiving and filling. my girls kept asking is that for Hunny with all the treats and I'd say no they are for some other dogies, and they had to know who so I showed them a pic of Cajsa. then when I got the outfit they asked if it was for one of them (way to small for them) and I said no and they just couldn't believe mommy was buying clothes for some other little girl! :scratch: I really do hope cajsa can eat all the treats I tried to make sure everything had ok ingredients. I can't wait to see pictures!! Glad Cajsa is doing better and gained her freedom! that is too sweet about Elf giving kisses for the hurt!
