Mommy is acting funny today!!!

She keeps moaning and groaning saying, "It can't be true, I don't feel 50!" That's right, our mommy is 50 today. She says she is in shock and she can't believe she is getting mail from AARP (what ever they are)! Please tell my mommy everything will be fine. We are very proud of our mommy. She joined Weight Watchers 12 weeks ago and has lost 33.5 lbs so far. That is like the weight of three of us added together! She also is going to be the acting manager of her department at work and if she does well, she will get a promotion in September...that means more money for more treats for us! She also has left us for a couple of hours several nights (something she rarely ever did) for dinners with some "crazy Scottish guy" (as she refers to him). She says she will wait a "wee" bit before she lets him meet us. Even though she is shocked about her birthday, she sure has been smiling and very happy lately! We love her!!!

Awwww Nikki - Happy Birthday !!!!! Haven't you heard....life begins at 50 !!!!! HA !!!!!! Sounds like your life is taking a big turn - and you deserve it !!!! Congrats on your weight loss - and the job upgrade !!! AND din-din with a partner......woo hoooooooo !!!!!

Happy Birthday Nikki! Sounds like everything is going great for you! Congrats on the weight loss, it is very hard to stick with a diet, and 33 lbs in 12 weeks is terrific.

Happy Birthday Nikki!! Congrats on the weight loss and turning 50. Ruth has a great idea with the Red Hats Club. I'm actually looking forward to 50 because that is what I plan to do. We have several around here and they all seem to have lots of fun.
Can't wait to hear more about this Scottish guy....
