Does anyone's doxie like peaches?

Schatzi is going to get to try one in a little while. I thought I would see what her reaction is. She is really funny about some fruits. She hated strawberries last year, but loves them this year. Bananas you can just forget about. She'll eat a piece of an apple every now and then, but only if she is really hungry or wanting to bond or something!

Mine have not tried fresh peaches.  One of the kids spilled part of a can of peaches and my two licked the juice off of them, but did not like the actual fruit.  We have tried a few types of fruit (usually because someone drops it on the floor) and they don't seem to like it very much.  They are not big on veggies either.  Libby will eat a carrot like a chewie, but Sgt doesn't want anything to do with it.

Our girls have never tried peaches, however they love cherries, which leaves cherrie pits in their poop. They also like raspberries and we have a bush. We also have a cherrie tree and a plum tree which seem to fruit at exactly the same time, I hate these trees but that is another story. My mother says they are staying in the ground. The fruit is what our dachsie girls love. We have strawberries in the front yard but I am yet to give these to the girls so I do not know if they like them.

 :thumb: :thumb: Sarge and Looie both love peaches and black raspberries.  We have peach tree in our garden and the boys love to receive pieces of the fresh fruit!  Nothing like harvesting fresh peaches right off the tree.  From the looks of them right now, we will have fresh peaches to pick about mid July.  We also have black raspberry bushes and they love them too.  In about a week, we (more like I) will be harvesting the first of the raspberries.  The raspberries will produce through the summer.  Sargey also loves strawberries.  I don't have any plants this year, but prior to that, when they were ripe enough, he would go nip them right off the plants!

Fresh Peaches are Sarah's favs she also likes Strawberries and Watermelon!!  :thumb: She doesn't care for banana's though must be something about the texture.

Schatzi decided the juice from the peach was just fine, but she didn't want the flesh from it at all. It was funny watching her make sure she licked every spot on the bit I gave her, though!

My daughter likes to eat the mixed fruit cups, I always catch her feeding the doxies from her fork, cherries, pineapple, pears, peaches, anything that comes from the hooman fork, is edible by my doxies!!!  except maybe a pickle.
Their absolute favorite treat is little baby carrots!  Not cooked ones, they know the difference.
