Hi Im essendy and I live in the heart of scotland.There are 19 daxies in my house at the moment most being pups.Ive been involved in daxies for 12 years and my old girl though deaf is still has her mad moments and if shown a stone will retreave it for hours.Im n to my 3rd generation of home bred daxies and am reguarly at Crufts.That is the most amazing show in the world,and I love it.

Welcome to Wiener Writings.  I am owned by Clifford.  He is a smooth red (and now white!!!) who will be 12 next Saturday.  We live 45 miles west of Chicago.  What type of show is Crufts?

There are several of us here who are of Scots descent.  My Scots ancestors came to the U.S. from Stewarton, Ayrshire.  Before that I don't know.....yet.

Crufts is the largest dog show in the world.It has showing classes,agility,obedience and heel work plus demos annnd lots more.

How exciting to be able to attend the Crufts show!!  We love to watch it on TV.  It sounds to me like you are in dog heaven over there in Scottland with all of those Doxies!
