DOD-5/19/06 - It's me - BRANDY !!!!

(Halloween night was slow...so I painted my nails and watched some tv !!!! )

Dis is me - Brandy Ivey......mama says I have some 'ole registered name, but she dudn't even remember what it is.....she stuck dem papers in de drawer de day I came and neber looked at dem again.  My never family used me for making babies and dats all - so mama didn't eben want to associate me with them.......so now I am only BRANDY IVEY !!!!   

Everyone calls me: Bran, Kissie Girl, Belly Rub Girl, Sweet Baby Girl, The Princess   

I am 10 yrs old, and my birthday is March 13th.

De Bestest day of my life is my GOTCHA DAY - October 27th and dis year it will be my 5 yr Gotcha anniversary !

I live with my mama, daddy and brudder Rudy in Coppell Texas.

My mama was gonna measure me last night....but well ugh......she FORGOT !!!!   I am a little over 10 lbs and very petite !!!



I am a Black and Tan smoothie.....but I have some grey flecks in my hair and my chinny chin chin is a little grey too......

My eyes are brown and I use them to gaze at my mama all de time    :crazyeyes:

I love my mama and daddy and Rudy.   When I meet new people it takes me a minute to warm up....but if I know dey are doggie people - I gib dem kissies right away !

Toys....hmmmmm....I dun't really play with toys...my brudder Rudy is the Toy Boy........I prefer to lay on a pillow....or IN the pillowcase !!!!

I LOVE treats !!!  My favorite ones are soft treats - but mama puts the crunchy ones in a container wid the soft ones to soften up the crunchy ones......I like baby carrots - mama cuts dem on a cutting board into bite size pieces - then flicks them all over the kitchen floor for me and Rudy to chase and eat!  I love popcorn and ice cream too !  One time Auntie Clarese sent me and Rudy dis thin crunchy bone - it was so yummy and I stole it quickly and ran to the safety of the big bed!

Of course, Rudy was right behind me......so mama broke it in half.......it was very good !

I really dun't like to have my toe nails dremeled, but mama does it outside in de sunshine - so I get drowsy and let her do it.... I HATE going to the vets - I get scared and shake  a lot !

I sleep in de BIG BED !!!!!    When we go to bed, I curl up on daddys pillow and mama covers me with a blankie....den when daddy comes to bed, I get up and crawl over mama and lay next to her on her left side, under her arm....very snuggly !!!

Favorite pastime.........

dis be it - besides sleeping....I LOVE belly rubs !!!!  Come on..... ya know you want to....Rub my belly !

Hunter.....nah.....I leave that up to my brudder....but I did bring a dead bird into the house once....and took it to the big bed......and den mama found it..... wonder why she grabbed my comforter off de bed and threw it into de washer ????   :thinik:

What I do when my hoomans are gone....sleep, sleep, sleep and go outside and lay in de sun and sleep, sleep, sleep !!!

My favorite things are: my mama, snoozing, pillows, treats, snuggly blankies, mama, kissies all over mama, grooming my brudder Rudy, TRYING to give kissies to daddy, treats, snoozing and......snoozing !!!!


Here I am dus hanging out on the couch - see my big blue fleece blankie ?  Also, please notice my 2 charms on my necklace...I got both of these from my boyfwiend, Kaiser !!!

Story about me that my hoomans want to share:
Every morning when mama gets up to get ready for the werk, I stay snuggled in the covers.  When she gets her walking clothes on she says "Brandy grllll, its time to get up...."   I know she is then coming to get me !!!  I get excited and start wagging my tail...but since I am in the big bed still it just thumps.....She laughs and calls me her Thumper Girl....I dus smile and then flip over for my morning belly rub !!!!  Mama laughs again...because it took me about a year before I even asked for a belly rub.  Mama was very excited when I did - 'cause then she knew I felt comfortable in my forever home   :thumb:

Wellllll aunties, uncas, and paw pals........I am worn out....guess I better go get some zzzzzzz's in !!!
