Who I live with: My fursissie Bossy Buelah an my furbrudder Oscy an my Mama an my Daddy an my two fish named Sushi and Tuna...dey don't do to much cept swim around. I got two hooman sissies and a hooman brudder dat come to stay wif me sometimes. One of dem works in New York city and one of dem is in college in Boston and one of dem is in college in New Hampshire. I have never been to any of dem places because mama says it's COLD der and I DO NOT LIKE DA COLD!

Favorite Toy: I love the SQUEEKY toys! I didn't know much bout playing wif toys when I came to live here but now I'm all about da toys! I like to steal dem from Bossy Buelah!

Best Treat: Now DIS is a tough one.
I love anything dat tastes like bacon. I love cookies...all kinds of cookies. I love ALL TWEETS! I am specially fond of eggies. Hamburger is nice. Oh yeah...and did I mention da cookies? I like veggies. Specially dem little carrots and green beans. I LOVE da gummi bears. I like Pizza crust.... but don't tell mama cuz daddy says dats our secret.

Worst Torture: BAFFS! Getting my toes chopped isin't much fun either!

Where I sleep at night: In da big bed....is der someplace else to sleep?

Favorite Pasttime: Playing wif Oscy and Buelah.....mostly Oscy. Cuddling wif mama. EATING! Digging....I LOVE to make really BIG holes in da lawn!

I am a Hunter: Yep...I got a bird once. Well me and Oscy got da bird but a bird kill is a bird kill, right? I LOVE TO CHASE LIZZIES! Der is a LOT of lizzies at my house. I can even get dem wiffout my big teef!

What do I do when my Hoomans are away: Sleep in daddy's chair wif Oscy and Buelah. Weiner wrestle with dem...back to sleep.

Favorite Things: EATING. Did I mention dat I like da cookies? Dr. Marshall....he's my vet and he helped me get all better when I was very sick. I LOVE him! He gives me hugs and he dances wif me and he calls me his favorite little man!

Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:
Most of you know Toby's story. He has been through so much. I guess the thing that stands out for me the most is his amazing inner strength and his unconditional love. Every time I look at him I am reminded of the power of prayer. I am sure that God put this little guy in my care for a reason. He has, quite simply, taught me to be a better and more patient person. He has also taught me that broken hearts can heal. He melts my heart every time he looks at me with those big brown eyes.

Toby, I once told your mom that with all the sad things that have happened on this board, your story, the good and the bad part of it will make me do more than just get tears in my eyes-it will make me truly cry. Lately however, it has been a happy cry. Your DOD write up did it again. I love the part about your doctor picking you up and dancing with you and calling you his little man. Every dog should have a vet just like him. You are such a special doxie and God knew that from the beginning. He knew when to get you away from New Orleans and the Katrina and he knew just the people that you needed and who also needed you. Buelah may not always seem to agree, but deep down inside she does. More importantly this board needed you so that we can all remember to love unconditionally and no matter how sick we may be, to never stop fighting to get well.
