"Easter egg" hunt?

I'm thinking of taking the kids to a local pet store for an "Easter egg" hunt on Saturday.  I'd like to maybe do something like this with them on Sunday.  Any suggestions?  I thought about hiding treats around the yard, but I don't want them to have too many treats and get upset bellies.  Any other ideas?

I think the hunt would be fun !!!!  Hopefully they hide itty bitty bites !!!!

We have a Doggie Parade and it looks like this week end will be a nice one !!!  Years past, it has been rainy and cold - blah !

You could possibly hide bites of their kibble in the little eggs.  That could be the way to feed them part of their dinner!
