Brekke turned 14 yesterday

Hi, gang!  She had her traditional birthday breakfast of scrambled egg and dog biscuits, an afternoon treat of a fresh baby carrot, a bite of the rotisserie chicken I had cooling on the counter, and Merrick's has a new canned food that is over 90% duck, so that went on the kibble.

She is now 14 months post-surgery on her back, and I actually got to meet some of the people who did Gretl-Angel's surgery back in 1999!  Brekke had cold laser therapy, hot rock treatments, and physical therapy for 10 days, and considering she's had a luxating patella on her right rear, she  gets around quite well - especially if food or treats are involved!
