Sounds like a pretty good vet visit.  What is that sticky tooth stuff?
It is kind of you to help your cousins with their food, we all know yungsters don't always eat properly, you show the, how it is done.
Any chance of seeing that winning photo of Amy?

We are hating walkies now because it is way too hot and humid.  Mum drags us out at 5 a.m. for the first constitutional....we het mo peace at all.  The gekkos need supervising on the terrace and we have to check the cool air flow quality of the a/c units in every room as well as control the doors and the kitchen activity.  We need a holiday.  We have used Facetime to Nana in the U.K. And to Aunty Gail, Ivy and baby Charlie so they could see our best pleading looks and make sure we get to drive to see them this Summer.

Shame it is so far away from you, you could hop in the car with us and come on a heritage trip to find your roots in Scotland, we keep trying to start packing our stuff in the spare bedroom ( under the bed) but Mum keeps putting it all back again.  You would have thought she would have got the message by now..

Hang on in there Ollie, maybe your Mum can get you a pet passport amd you can do the trip and eat your way all the way up through France with us.  We love the cheeeeeese.

Hey Ollie, best be careful with the screaming or you might get shipped to the Melbourne Opry House to show off your talent.
Good job Amy!!

Chicago is heading into the high heat part of the summer.  Was in the 90's over the weekend and last night at 10 pm it was still 81F and 95% humidity.  Hunter didn't want to search for chippies...

Hunter needs to go in for vaccine updates.  My vet contacted the vet in Michigan that supposedly handled the vaccines last year.  Seems the dates are a little odd and the other vet couldn't confirm a couple of them.  Makes me wonder even more about his history in general.  We went to a dachs fund raiser event recently with over 200 dogs in attendance.  No other dog had a coat like his, just the usual short, wire and long.  His coat is extremely thick/coarse and about an inch long.  I wonder if there might a corgi a generation or 2 back.  All his features otherwise look like a dachshund.

I recently joined a group on Facebook:  Chicago Men in Kilts.  They have a good list of places to get kilts local and via internet plus pros & cons of various materials used.  Getting closer to the real thing.

Iz can feel your pain, Ollie.  About a year ago, myz mama puts me on da diet, too.  It was aaaaaaaaaaawful!!!!!  No matters howz hard Iz tries, Iz got no extwas.  It was cruel Iz tells ya, but Iz hase to say Iz do looks good and feels a lot bedda.  So hang in der, it will be worth it.

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.

Roberta

Mike you might find he has import lines as our wirehairs are that wire, course and long so it might be in his genes.

Thanks Roberta.  I like that idea much better than the Corgi.  I'll have to see if I can find a wire to compare the back and rump coats.
