We were out at Ding Darling over on Sanibel, and my hubby decided he need to use the facilities....how nice, they finally figured out they needed them out there.  Of course, we took Taffy.  Doxy under one arm, camera with humongous lens under other.  She did everything she could to get to that camera, lol.  I told her daddy would not be amused with puppy kiss marks on that lens.

She loves the cameras, which is a good thing, since they seem to come into the house with remarkable regularity.  You know you love your puppy when they cover your best camera with sand, and you don't yell at them.

those are terrific action pictures!!!  She's such a pretty girl.

Just sand for us here, too...  We are from Missouri but the girls are Florida natives.  What is ironic is my husband (who HATES snow and cold) now has to travel to IOWA a couple times a month for work.  He leaves this Tues and says the forecast high is 18 degrees and the low is minus 3!!!

We're also from Missouri, but been down here since 1993....and never moving back.   Guess we should all send rays for your poor hubby, lol.

I've told my family to never to anything that would require me to come up there in the cold months.....but if I have to go, I would have to take Taffy up with me.  I know she would not object to a shopping trip to suit up for it.

We did pick up a set of boots at Target just to see what she would do.  She was NOT amused.

What wonderful pics!  Hallie looks like she is having a grand time.   The Longhaireds in my experience seem to enjoy the snow a lot more than the smoothies do...must be all the extra hair.   Max is certainly no snow fan, but he will dutifully go out and do his business in it.  We used to have to chase Rudy around the house to get him to go out.

In their younger days, Rudy & Max would first go out in the snow with a "Hey, this is pretty neat" attitude.  After a short bit of frolicking it quickly turned into a "Hey, this is really cold...let's go back inside".
