I thought for sure Princess Hallie would have a fleece coat and booties!  Of course, no one but Strudel will keep the booties on, but it's cute to see them in them anyway.  I just love your pictures....you are so talented in so many ways!!!

Those pictures are priceless!
I don't remember where you guys are at,but there's a little bit of snow in Northern Illinois.
Blusky is like a couple of the other posts I read-stay inside under the blankies and Manny on the other hand loves to run and play in the snow.Yesterday his little nose was covered with snow.

Julie

Hallie - Sgt says you are one brave doxie to play out in the snow.  He starts shivering when the temp drops below 70 (it's that Florida blood in him).  He would freak if it snowed here, of course, I would probably freak too if it snowed here!
Owned by Sergeant & Libby

Doxies are like Pringles, you can't have just one!

Jacqueline

Julie, can you believe that they actually MAKE snow here in Florida  ?  So wrong!!  People ask me if I miss it.  NO....and if I ever get the urge to feel the cold weather again, I will just go to Walmart and step into the milk coolers for a few minutes......and the urge will go away.

Taffy didn't want to go out in the rain.  I can just imagine her response to snow.  :cussing:  Yep....that would be it.

Snow is FUN  ........ ......... if someone goes outside to play with you!

GREAT PICTURES!!!

I love snow and winter (even if Clifford does not).  Ms Hallie is now my desktop picture here at work.
There's nothing like having a dachshund tongue up your nose at 3 a.m.

Snow!  Lucky you!  Hallie looks like she is enjoying it.  We got a couple of feet around Thanksgiving and its been clear, cold and around zero ever since.  Skinny Misty freezes up quickly, and so does Alex with the metal plate in his leg.  Willy is smart and won't go out the door at all.  I don't usually take the dogs out, but occassionally Misty and Alex insist on going out onto the deck to check out the bird feeder.

I remember getting a snowfall every now and then when I lived in Washington as a kid.  We lived on our little farm in Winlock at the time.  It was a real treat to go out and build a snowman.

Great actions shots!  We got snow here on Christmas Eve last year.  The first time in about 20 years.  I do like seeing pictures of it though!

AH...ha I loved reading about the different doxie snow personalities. That would make a great poster or calendar or something. I hope we get a bit more, I have ordered a fancy new lens which cost more than my camera, which in turn cost more than my....house LOL. So it should make getting a fast moving black and tan object against a staionary white background, easier to shoot clearly. :thumb:

Tofu is jealous. He can't wait for snow, Siggy and I on the other hand could do without it this year. With the cold weather I am already to hibernate. Hallie you do look beautious running through the snow.

LOL, isn't that the truth, what we can spend on the cameras and lens?  Do you find that people....total strangers will come up and ask if they can "see" your camera and then expect you to let them hold it and handle it?  I'm sorry, ...but I am not handing any of my camera gear over to anyone.   When we considered evacuating for Wilma, I packed up every last piece....right down to the last filter.

Isn't it wonderful that we have such great subjects to make it all worthwhile  :thumb:

Delia and girls

What wonderful pictures! I especially like the second one! Hallie, you're the kind of girl that looks good in anything - even snow! She is having too much fun. Gretchen and Ilsa say: I wanna play with Hallie! Ron says he's sooooooo jealous! I wanna be there tooooo!

Dee Dee and Hallie

Tell Ron to pack you all up and come on down! The girls can help Hallie blaze trenches to a potty spot. :) Actually it's ALL gone today. That's the good way to have snow though, one day of being new and pretty then go away the next. Would love to see those three girls in the snow together.

We wish we could share snow with those who want it and warm dryer towels and the blow dryer for those who don't! Yesterday was cold and yucky so I made Hallie some home made cookies. Yum.

I have a feeling I'll get a lot more of those questions with this new lens, it's huge and it's off white, how much less inconspicuous is that LOL.

We were out at Ding Darling over on Sanibel, and my hubby decided he need to use the facilities....how nice, they finally figured out they needed them out there.  Of course, we took Taffy.  Doxy under one arm, camera with humongous lens under other.  She did everything she could to get to that camera, lol.  I told her daddy would not be amused with puppy kiss marks on that lens.

She loves the cameras, which is a good thing, since they seem to come into the house with remarkable regularity.  You know you love your puppy when they cover your best camera with sand, and you don't yell at them.

oceangirls

those are terrific action pictures!!!  She's such a pretty girl.

Just sand for us here, too...  We are from Missouri but the girls are Florida natives.  What is ironic is my husband (who HATES snow and cold) now has to travel to IOWA a couple times a month for work.  He leaves this Tues and says the forecast high is 18 degrees and the low is minus 3!!!

Jacqueline

We're also from Missouri, but been down here since 1993....and never moving back.   Guess we should all send rays for your poor hubby, lol.

I've told my family to never to anything that would require me to come up there in the cold months.....but if I have to go, I would have to take Taffy up with me.  I know she would not object to a shopping trip to suit up for it.

We did pick up a set of boots at Target just to see what she would do.  She was NOT amused.

What wonderful pics!  Hallie looks like she is having a grand time.   The Longhaireds in my experience seem to enjoy the snow a lot more than the smoothies do...must be all the extra hair.   Max is certainly no snow fan, but he will dutifully go out and do his business in it.  We used to have to chase Rudy around the house to get him to go out.

In their younger days, Rudy & Max would first go out in the snow with a "Hey, this is pretty neat" attitude.  After a short bit of frolicking it quickly turned into a "Hey, this is really cold...let's go back inside".
