Just wanted to tell the story I heard from my neighbor the idiots that live next door to us with the crazy Pit mix that runs into our solid metal fence trying to get at our dogs.? We put up a 2nd fence about 5 ft from the first solid metal 6ft fence that the 2 trees are pushing in our fence we put up a 2nd fence hog wire.Anyway there dogs came down with Parvo the youngest dog maybe about close to a year old dies the little dog got treatment and they say the pit mix did not get it a friends dog came over and brought the Parvo. Makes me really nervous because they let all those dogs loose they ran across or front yard all the time. I got into a big argument with them over it I said there is a leash law keep them on a leash.Never happened now this Parvo calling my vet about it in the morning going to ask about the Parvo being right next door.Any thoughts  ?

The parvo virus is nasty and usually included in basic three part pup and adult vaccinations ( as in lepto- parvo-moquillo ) with anti- rabies given yearly separately.  My two also had the newly released leishmania vaccination course this Spring since mosquitoes are a big problem here.  I would check your two have had the parvo vaccination.

That's a relief.  I agree, people like that make me mad too, poor puppers.
