A Me update

I'm pretty good at present and giving mum  break from worrying, but some mornings I rattle with pills, but if it keeps mum happy ok dokay.
They have up'd the dose of the shinky one and mum has fiddled with the prednisalone so I only get .5mg every other day and my prozac daily and Iz a happy girlie.........

Yesterday it was windy and warm so I just sat and faced the wind so mum took some shots of me...............she says I got a meeting with a stripping comb to-morrow so I had better hide as I HATE GETTING GROOMED

Sounds like you are on a lot of meds but we are very happy you are doing so well.  What a pretty girlie you are. Those ringlets remind us of Scarlet O'Hara in Gone With the Wind.

What kind of stripping comb do you use ? Dog show this week end best place to get something like that have two left over from the Bouvier's so I comb Patches with those. Bouvier's just pets so never learned how to use a stripping comb ?

This is the stripping knife I use on the main part of the body. 



I also have a Hauptner knife that is tiny, and works great for their legs, although Reilly is so fuzzy on her legs that I just use thinning shears and take off the hair with those instead (or sometimes I'll use a mini clipper)-it would be torture to pull out on that hair on their sensitive legs.

mum here, she is a little trooper and seems to be coping well, just don't get between her and her doggy door when she needs to go............I start with a good brush then a comb then a blade type one we get here, her legs I can never get much off as by that time she's over it and lets you know.

Ooooh Missy Amy I am luving your wavy hair.  Mine is just short, mama says sort of like some one named Twiggy.  But I am shedding or molting according to mama.

I love Amy's waves, sort of like the Marcel perms from the 20's.  Danni sure is shedding and even though she gets combed there is still enough hair on the couch and on the floor to make another Danni.  But she really doesn't shed, she molts, her hair comes out in tufts and when her soft fuzzy winter coat is gone she has her sleek, aerodynamic fur underneath just what she needs for chasing after critters in the yard.

Right now she is sacked out on the couch sleeping, it has suddenly got hot and humid here so no running allowed, plus allergies are affecting both of us.

Thanks for the picture of the stripping knife, went over to the dog show here in Tulsa today watches a lady hand stripping her terrier with a pumice stone thought it was interesting. Thanks again for the picture. papbouv
