Hi Gang!

I have had so many changes in my life the last 3 years, and I have not kept up with the wiener board.  I am sorry for that!!!

I am active Facebooker and friends with a lot of the original dachshund board posters - but I wanted to make myself available for the new people that have questions or concerns.  I found this group when my 3 year old baby (King Sol) had to have emergency back surgery - which turned into a whole nightmare - but he recovered!

The people on the board - Dee, DD, Mack, David, so many others - were my support system that got me through it.  If I can be there for someone else - please PLEASE let me know.  My e-mail is sjandrin@yahoo.com.  I can't check this board as often as I would like, but I know there is tremendous strength in numbers, and anyone owned by a doxie is family to me.

Nights are busy with Kirby (dubbed S.B.D. Stinky Baby Dog) and Max (long hair, don't care) but love my extended family of doxies that you all share with me- at one time we even had a Traveling Treat Box and a Birthday Calendar!!

King Sol has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but he sends me clues that let me know he is okay and reigning supreme in the Kingdom there.  Greenies for everyone!!  LOL   :nana:

Dee Dee and Hallie

Hey Sue! Was King Sol only 3 when that happened? Man the years can fly. Very nice of you to come offer your shoulder for others going through the same thing. It happens way too often!

We need pics of SBD and Max here!  :thumb:

SBD really isn't that much of a baby anymore?   IIRC, he has to be well into middle age dachsiedom.  I know my chocolate/tan girl Zora is going to be 11 this year, and her tan points are starting to turn white.   Zeke's tan points are fading to match his bluish/gray coat, so it's hard to tell his age.

BonniesMom

Good to see you, Sue!  My Bonnie is approx 13 now.  She's such a good girl but is slowing down now.  Even when I have company, she sometimes just stays on her futon in the computer room.  She went for a walk today with Mark, though, and had a ball!
