FRITO  TOES
I know that I have seen this mentioned on the board.  My beloved Miss eLlIe didn't have this attribute, so I guess I never really paid attention.   oLlIe  smells as if he has walked through a bag of Fritoes.   What's the information on this?

Love the Frito toes!  My boys have all had Frito toes.  I really notice it when they are sleeping and their feeties are warm......they send off the aroma of Fritoes!  Don't know why, but I love it.  Sarge looks at me like I've lost a few marbles.....when he is warm and toasty in the blankies, I take in the aroma of his Frito toes.  Enjoy, Ruth!

Bonnie's feetsies smell like they just came from the Frito oven!  She knows how to bake 'em up!

Once upon a time, we actually had a pupper here on WW named Frito because of the "Frito Feet" smell.   I imagine the pupper is close to Willy & Alex's age these days.

I remember FRITO!!!  Was Frito related to Tillie?

I don't think so.  Tilly was related to Muffin, who went to the Bridge.  I think they got another pupper for Tilly to play with.  Tilly has to be around 11 - 12 years old by now.

Frito was a pup, but I can't remember the poster or the name of Frito's dam.

Doberman Talk also state Doberman s smell like Frito s some of the Dobe people mix Apple cider vinegar and water spray down the dogs seems to help with the frito feet smell. Wonder if it has any thing to do with yeast infections???

:thinik: I think it has to do with the corn meal and corn grain products they eat. We used to call Cooper-Angel "Corn Chip Doggie." :angel4:

Both Clifford and now Duncan had/have frito feet and neither got dog food with corn.
There's nothing like having a dachshund tongue up your nose at 3 a.m.

:thinik: That's true for Guinness, who has never had Frito feet. :runaway:

On the other hand, sometimes I have Frito feet! It must have something to do with metabolizing some food that comes out as Fritos . .

. . . and Fritos aren't even kosher!  :idiot:

I always thought the "frito feet" phenomena was because puppers sweat through their pads?    Either that or there are pherenomes in their feet to help "mark" territory, like when you see them scraping the ground with their paws after they've done a number 2.

Don't you say it, Guinness, don't you DARE say it!!! :cussing:

I dunno Auntie Keren, wasn't you just scraping the ground last Sunday afternoon? :thinik:
