Yesterday was Miller's Gotcha Day

Four years ago yesterday my Miller came into my life from Houston Dachshund Rescue.  It was a very rough time for me and he lightened my load considerably.  I had lost my beloved Pebbles and Miss CC in the spring within 2 months of each other and I was heartbroken.  Sweet Miller helped fill a huge empty space in my life and my heart.  We have always celebrated Thanksgiving as "Millermas" in honor of our Miller's arrival so I tend to forget that he really came to us the day before Thanksgiving.  What a wonderful holiday gift he is.
