I was sitting at the computer typing away when Zeke came down to visit me.   Usually, he wants to sit in my lap, so I reflexively reach down, grab a handful of dachshund and put him in my lap.   Today was no different.  I reached down without even looking and scooped up a dachshund and put it in my lap.   When I looked down in my lap, imagine my surprise that I had picked up Zora instead of Zeke!    I didn't even hear Zora come downstairs, nor did I hear her sneak under my chair.  Poor Zeke had this look of absolute dejection on his face.   Eventually I switched dachshunds, but I've never grabbed the wrong dog without even knowing!

i don't have that problem, currently, as I only have one wienerdog.

Never happened to me as I only have one little guy in my house.  Too funny though, I bet Zora was really offended.   :2funny:
