Thanks Theresa!
oh gosh, there are different kinds of ovens?? Forced air? Well I lucked out on the temp it seems! I had it at 350.
Ack it's too late about the cake...it's already done. We'll see what my Uncle says! I won't mention it.

I just took the chicken out too and it is nice and brown...not black! Hallie is chewing on a little piece as we speak, so far no trips to the ER! Whoo! :thumb: :thumb:

yeah..........................................the temp does not really matter it just takes loneger. fan forced can be a bit ferrocious.
Kangaroo, as is obvious we can get it easily, but it is an aquired taste Oliver hates it, Amy well she would chase a kangaroos to get some. Also the meat varies in favour intensity depending on the cut.

You can do jerky the same as the chicken but leave it chunky  and thick fingers and have the oven on the lowest temp, and leave the door ajar, it can take hours and hours. I gave up as my two swallowed in two seconds....................

Oooh man I can't imagine eating a kangaroo, sort of like eating a big bouncy possum? Do people eat it over there?

Ha apparently dogs don't appreciate the fine art of savoring their hard won delicacy.  I thought you were going to say you left the door ajar and one of them jumped in and nabbed it!

Jane eats it as she is vegitarian.................don't laugh, she does not agree the method they use to kill cattle and sheep but as kangaroo are killed (apparently) by a clean kill, she is OK with it. I have tasted what I have cooked for her and its a bit to gamey for me...............and ollie. But some marinated bits are not to bad.
