Do any of you have those moments where your pupper needs a bath RIGHT NOW?   Zeke had his moment yesterday.   We were in the backyard and Zeke found some really stinky stuff to roll in.   Not only did he roll in it, it stuck to him (which is pretty tough for a smoothie).   When he got back up on the deck he had a giant wad of bird poop on his trunk.   Luckily, Jessica was playing in the sprinkler at the time, so I simply picked him up and took him over to the sprinkler to rinse him off.   Zeke was less than amused, but at least he was clean again.   I think he didn't mind being cooled down a bit either.

Never had the pleasure, but Sam loved to be plopped in the sink when it was hazy, hot and humid and be drenched in water.  Danni on the other hand doesn't care for water that much unless  the neighbor douses her with the rain setting on the sprinkler.

I had a midnight skunking that required an instant internet search for the Mythbusters formula to remove the stink and a triple bath.  That was eye-watering and I will never forget it.

Ah yes!  Just last month, Bonnie decided on a walk that she would take a roll or two or three in the gutter that was quite muddy at the time. She was FILTHY when Mark brought her home.  No procrastination for us.  It was straight into the sink for a thorough washing, harness and all.  She seemed to be smiling as she got scrubbed.  The roll in the mud must have been worth it.

The very first dog show Merion and I took the WeeRV to I think it was Zelda who decided it would be fun to romp through the muddy parking area. So that very first trip we got to use the shower in it.  Let's just say it is the perfect size for midgets and doxies!!  Top of RV slanted over...this is a van camper that had everything.  But the "shower started about midthigh height and it did have a hand held shower head.  I think that is the ONLY time we used it for anything other than storage!!
