This story was on our Channel 6 news TV June,13,2011 A couple had three dogs all got into there tornado shelter survived a Tornado a few weeks ago. They lost there home and car a friend offered to keep there three dogs until they could find a place to live. They found a place to live were going to move in this weekend two of the dogs a mix breed Pit bull/Lab mix and a Lab mix both got out of the fence were running loose. The owner stated the dogs were friendly but would jump up on people with excitement in wanting to play. The sheriff's deputy supposedly shot both dogs with a tranquilizer then took them to the shelter ? and shot them ? & then supposedly buried them behind the shelter. This is what was stated by the owner on the TV news report she had requested the dog's bodies so they could have closure and bury the dogs them selfs that is when the sheriff told them the dogs were already buried.  Sad story none the least feel sorry for the owners and the dogs may they rest in peace. The owner was told there would be a investigation?

He shot the dogs with a tranquilizer because?????  If I was the Sheriff in this town this deputy would be without a job starting right now...
